My New Pally(help!)

For a while I have been trying to plan a build that can easily handle all classes especially high def chars such as barbs and pallys...I tried to make a good kicker and wwsin ..both awesome vs. casters but sucks vs meleers. so i was thinking about making a chargadin. he would use:
Charge:20
Might:20
Vigor:20
Fanat:20
Rest to maybe Salvation or something...

I have a few very important questions about him...
1. Is this build good for vs. melee chars?
2. Should i use fanat or concentration(plz explain why)?
3.Should i use a 1 or 2 handed wep.(plz explain why)?
4. what should the rest of my points go in if not salvation?

I dont know about gear but i need to know about the 1 or 2 hand wep thing.

1.I think so,if properly played (remember charged is heavily bugged and can be blocked) but i think u will still be owned by smiters
2.Fanat ==>more ar=more hits
3.1 handed vs melee 2 handed vs caster (casters cant be blocked anyways)
4.I say smite

my conclusion,iw u want to own melee,u might want to consider a smiter

I say if you go one handed, atleast a few points should be dropped into holy shield. Nothing like increased defense AND max block :)

I thought there was a bug that if you used holy shield that every once in a while that you wouldnt be able to charge...?

If you go 2 handed probably a eth botd thunder maul would be a good weapon if you could afford it (atleast that is what I have heard other people say about charge pallys)

A guy called Daarek on europe uses an ebotd War pike for a charger, and the guy does some insane dmg, somewhere in the region of 30k iirc.

Not sure, never heard of that, but if its true, you might as well go with a two handed weapon like eth botd maul and go for highest damage possible.
