End of Ladder Season

The ladder season is near an end, and i feel some people may be able to make a profit. Im not sure of how much a HoZ is ladder, but with the ladder chars being merged with the non ladder chars along with all thier items, there may be a pretty good market for some upgraded equipment. Especially something like an up'd hoz, if i played ladder i would trade for a load of hoz's and up them, in preparation for the ladder being closed. Dunno if anyone else had this idea?

Maybe I'm missing your point but aren't HoZ's the same on ladder as they are non-ladder? And if both are merged where is the advantage?

I'd think ladder only items would have higher value to the non-ladders. I try not to think about it much since I can't see myself playing non-ladder.

u cant upgrade Exceptional unique's on non-ladder (i think) :scratch:
so if u upgrade while u still can, they might be worth a lot on Non-ladder

Yep, exactly what im getting at. A few threads have been posted about the ultimate smite shield, and generally an upgraded zakarum comes out tops. Of course these arent available on non-ladder.... until the ladder season ends, and all the ladder players bring their goodies to trade :D I def wanna get my hands on an upgraded zaka! (im nl btw :D)

I'm not sure but from what I read on bliz site they are going to make the ladder character as they called it a 1.10+ population. Not sure if this means they can trade with nonladder characters then or not. I hope they can but we will see.

Also, people on ladder should try and sell their sojs for a decent amount before the ladder season ends, cus as soon as u go into non ladder trading they loose quite a lot of value. The way i heard it on ladder 2 soj = 1 high rune, on non ladder, its about 10-15 soj for 1 high rune. go figure :S

Ladder and N/l WILL merge, blizzard announced this and so did dii.net on their main page. I personally have about 4 extra up'd hoz's and I plan to sell them for a pretty penny once ladder ends. Same with all my up'd arreats and gore riders. I was never "that wealthy" and I figured this would be the easiest way to get some quick wealth. From the looks of it, its going to pay off

I have some up'd gear, but I would be supprised if you coulndt up stuff to once the new season came about. If true though, some items would be very very very valueable :)

Anyway, as I meant to say; values of items changing won't matter too much. The rune price will probably drop though, hopefully SOJS will be vanquished as the poor currency they are anyway too.

I thought of this, except I sold the upped hozs while they were still on ladder to my friends ;)
I only was able to get like 2 extras
