Hey at least its not a CB vs. BA question

This is my gear:

Wolfhowl (duh)
Stone boneweave
Verdungos (39/13)
Stormshield
Death Clever (will be Shael for 9 frames norm, 7 frame Feral)
Highlords
War Travs
Ravenfrost
Natures Peace

I got 2 masteries charm, rest is a miss match of crap I can scrape off my shoe.

This is my first attempt at a wolfbarb so I dont know the killing speed but I understand at least the skill placement:

20 Iron Skin
20 Shout
20 BO
20 Axe Mastery
5~10 Nat Res
5~10 Battle Commands

Biggest Questions:

1)Is putting a point in Conc okay for leveling purposes?
2)What order do I place my skill points for easiest time?

I wouldn't use cleaver but thats just me. ~_~#

To answer your questions:

I see no harm in putting a point into conc if it makes your life easier and since it's PvM (I assume O_o) you shouldn't really worry bout that point.

btw. why more than one point into battle command?? 1 is enough to prebuff your BO.

I'd max out Axe Mastery and BO first, then proceed with Shout and Ironskin but then again it's up to you.

Fairly good gear Kbob, though Deathcleaver is stuck at 9 frames not 7. Since Wolfbarbs will have about 20 extra points after maxing its important skills I say yes it is ok to put a point into Concentration, leveling is not all that great with Wolfbarbs due to the fact Wolfhowl has such high high level requirements and even using a passion for Zerk does fine too. About skill placement, I'de do what Asheron said cept do Iron Skin first then do shout. (it's just easier than to keep casting all the time) Good luck on him.

9 Frames is faster than any conc barb I have had, so no prob with. Commandomancer can only hit 10fpa :cheesy: 9 = fine. When ladder ends, I have a 4x Shael Griz Caddy I can use as well.

Why don't you try it out before you build one in singleplayer.
I do that all the time.
That way i make sure i'm not wasting my time with something bad.

Also I think the Beast runeword gives you the ability to morph into a Werebear or wolf.

Using a wolfhowl to transform then a beast for the lyc. bonus and fanat and to attack with would be really good IMO.

I say don't go 9fpa if you can go 4fpa as well.

instead of putting a point into concentration, why not dual weild with a bloodletter? prior to level 30, conc isnt going to help all that much, and after level 30, a lvl 3 whirl is probably more useful than a lvl 1 conc. As long as the bloodletter is your secondary weapon, it will never hurt the whirlwind of your primary weapon - just occasionally add a hit if it can.

might look good on paper, but if you can get a beast, you can also get 2 hoto's to prebuff for + 6 ww and + 6 lyc :) also, the fana bonus only helps dmg and AR, not attack speed :(

dual upgraded bloodletter is nice btw :D

If you can't get dual hotos, use mang song's staff to transform, then switch.

Wow you are all suggesting things I can't afford :(

This is meant to be a fun side project and not like my main char here. Like I said,if speed is an issue, I have a 4x Shael caddy if need be. If I could afford a beast, then I wouldn't even have this barb. Beast would have taken all my stuff to get and it would be only my freezer.
