It keeps people asking questions, and its clearly doing the job well. =D
It might have been something they wanted to use early in the game design, but later they canceled the idea and just had it print msgs on the screen. I always liked clicking it until it said "moo", lol.
Everytime you click the button, God kills another kitten. Please think of the kittens.

My friend once told me that If you enable the gem, in the next game you join, a Gem shrine will appear. Never actually tried it though, so Im not too sure. Sort of makes sense in a way though... if you think about it...

I personally think it is a measure of security. I dont have an idea what it would do, but the only reason I would think they would put a button that they wont explain, would be for you to push it so that they can restrict __________ or whatever. Its gotta be either a method of ensuring something, OR its a joke. Hell... Disney has perverted stuff in all of their classic movies, this button could be a joke from the makers.

It is a joke I bet. But I love spreading a good romor. Ok check this out I heard that every time you click it a D clone in a game will loose 1 hit point.

I have one! Every time you hit the gem, a "____ Stones of Jordan Sold to Merchants" message appears on every game in that server! Sounds believable huh?

I have a rumor... It was there before 1.10. Done.

Ah but you see, Blizzard always intended to have it activate the dclone, they just never got around to implementing it until 1.10.
P.S.: I really hope no one actually believes this crap.

BLizzard did state on their website that it did absolutely nothing. It was there just for the hell of it.

If all of battle.net together presses it 13371337 times, the ladder will reset.

Maybe that's what the meant by that comment I don't know, have not seen that comment but that might be just it............

If that's all you've gotten it to do, you're way underutilizing it. Keep clicking on it until you get it to say "Perfect gem activated." Makes a HUGE difference (158.3%)...
