Why does my barb suck so bad?
lvl 74/75??
max concentrare, ww, almost bo(12 or 13), sword mastery, 1 in all pre reqs,

lightsaber phase blade
forgot shield
serpentskin armor (like 271 def or something)
ik gloves
ik belt
ik helm
sigon boots(im working on getting ik boots)
bad rings/ammy ;..(


Also, i found a guy with a 6 socket phase blade and i got some of the runes for botd runeword, so my question is, would a botd phaseblade be any good?

NO, do NOT make a BotD phaseblade. That is a total waste, since the damage is so low on them and they can't be ethereal. ONLY make BotD in ethereal items.

As for why your barb is having a hard time: your weapon is terrible. No offense intended, Lightsabre is just extremely weak these days unless you're using it with a crushing blow build or something. Likewise, you have two non-cross-synergizing combat skills; those points would've been better spent in Shout, and then afterwards Ironskin. Your armor is a sorc armor, not a barb one, so you should try and get something a bit more powerful (Duress runeword comes to mind; it's cheap, and very powerful).

What act are you trying to play in? I'm usually just starting hell at level 74/75.

A good sword ideal for you since you look like you are just starting out is.... Creasent moon Legend sword. Also what runes do you have? If you do not have the main rarest runes to have a Ebotd you might want to hold off, like Zod and Vex.

i just got into act 1 hell, but i havent played in hell yet, im still doing baal runs to lvl up some more.....i was just asking because i only do 1k dmg....and i didnt do concentrate and ww for synergy(obviously :lol: ) i put them both at max because i am using a build that uses both of those attacks.....so whats the deal, should i start fresh or try and pull this one togther.....thanks

Just start over, there is no point in maxing both conc and ww with a barb. Get yourself some better equipment, possibly what was mentioned above. 20 bo 20 shout 20 mastery 20 ww or conc, rest into iron skin seems to be the most common barb build these days.

ok thanks, i was also thinking of maybe a frenzy build? Well actually, I wasnt thinking of it, someone else on this board was and made a guide for it...how does that sound?

Yeah, any of the sticky builds are pretty tight. Nothing against Conc/WW hybrids, though I personally don't see the point in maxing two non-synergetic combat skills when you'll only be using one at a time, and you'll come to see you're using one more than the other anyways, and wish you had those points somewhere else that would help (like Shout/Ironskin). Besides, level 1 conc with 20 bo does more damage than level 20 whirlwind and mastery anyways.

Ok you have vex save that till you get a zod. If you need a new weapon and you find a um make the sword I was talking about.
