best build for Axe Barb?

I apologize if this topic has been discussed before, but I searched for information in this forum and came up with nothing. Anyone know/has a barb that uses axes? two-handed or one-handed, it doesn't matter. Interested in skills, equip, and stats. Thanks in advance. Not sure if it matters, but it would be for non-ladder uswest.

May I add:
passive barb (very challenging build, based on only combat masteries)
and double swing barb(dual wielding, usually gets changed to a frenzy barb later on)

The key to axes are the are sssllowww so you need to choose a build that has increased speed built it. Frenzy is one of these types of builds.

I thought you meant that the key to axes meant slowing down your enemies...IE, using Warcry to stun (for example).

a berserker axe is faster than a colossus blade, so I dunno what you're talking about axes being slow... 2 handed axes can be slow, but most 2 handers are just as slow.

Frenzy, ww are good for dual wielding 1 handed axes.
conc, ww, berserk are good for axe/shield
berserk, leap attack are good for 2 hand axes

There are more, but that's what comes off the top of my head. Cookie cutters for stat points and skills are pretty easy for all these builds.

stats = str/dex to equip all your items, rest into vit, non into energy
skills = max bo, shout, weapon mastery, whatever main skill, 1 point into prerequisites and anything else you find useful. The rest of the skills go into whatever you lack.

ebotd and DC berserker axes are the best weapons for the simple cookie cutter weapon/sheild ww barb.

Probably Frenzy barbarian. Once you became used to it and get some nasty axes, you'll find other style of fighting very....slow. Plus, it alows you to use 2 beneficial weapons if you so chose.

you can make virtually every good runeword in an axe, and the ability to stack something like fanaticism/holy freeze or just use botd+beast makes me think of frenzy as the best choice, theres just so much you can do with a pair of axes, besides, frenzy is always the best choice
