hi gents,
i got the windhammer: 200+ to 318 damage, 180+% enhance damage, 50% crushing blow, 60% inrease attack spd, very fast attack speed, and some other mod.

should this go on a whirlwind or berserker?

or should this go on other class type?

will this hammer make the an untwinked whirlwind barb viable?

i would go whirlwind, just because berserk is too much trouble wiht a two-hander. make sure to socket it with a shael for the fastest ww-breakpoint, which is nice :D windhammer is quite simular to the IK maul, same mods, comparable dmg. if you have the rest of the set lying around somewhere, or if you haven't made a IK barb yet, i'd say make an IK barb with WW, it's a really nice build imo :)

windhammer is also quite nice on a werewolf druid, used it myself for some time on my (nooby) ww druid in the early days of this patch :D

If you are really that poor you could do a leaper.

Zerk hands down, pump up warcry base dex,str enough for equip, rest into vit. U need a lot of support equipment for ww- leach, damage reduction, defense, resists, all of them provided by ik set, with windhammer u get none except ias & cb.Assuming ur other equipment is avg I'd say look no further than zerk.

With zerk- high life & resists is all u need if u have warcry.

Ik maul is superior though with % damage to demons and undead, damn that armor is hard to find!

It would hit the last WW breakpoint with an IAS jewel. That could potentially be more useful than a shael, if the jewel had some other nice mods.

Windhammer might be fun with a Fury druid with maxed Tornado for Twister synergy ;)
