"naked" dualers

you know the kind where it looks like they arent wearing the items but they still get the stats from them. So I tried doing it with my enchantress using the widow maker. she currently did not have enough dex, so to test it i put on a item with +dex, equiped the widow maker, then took the +dex item off. well she didnt get guided arrow. my question is does it only work with charms that add strength/dex?? or does it work some other way

When you removed the +dex gear, she couldn't use the Widow maker anymore, hence no GA for you.

yes i know that... you would have to have seen a "naked" dueler to know what im talking about. People look like they have no gear on... but they have it on, AND GET ALL THE STAT BONUS' FROM THE ITEMS. my question is does this only work with charms and not gear?

you dont see their armor right?... A known glitch. It happens alot with tals and ik set, u see them glow but u dont see the armor on. I have had people ask me why i fight without armor. I have also seen some melee chars with their weap invisible. Another glitch is sometimes when my frenzy barb at lower lvls with deaths set used double swing he would blink in and out of visibility. So dont be shocked because they are wearing the gear... it just doesnt show sometimes

To my knowledge it only works when charms are the reason you can equip your gear.

if u wanna be able to use Widowmaker without ppl seeing it check dex from charms and add til u got enough.. it only works with charms..

i remember twinking my baba that much that ppl coudnt even see my BO weapon..
Than again if i die my corps pops so... i had to carry a 20str ring or so in invetory..
And corps poping can be verry anoying if ya duel alot and die alot :D

Just to add a little somthing, you won't see yourself as naked so if your trying to look entirely naked have a friend tell you what they see.

Stop giving him bad information! Heh, if you get to use an item by getting strength from an item/charm it will be invisible to others. Even if its just 1 str from a sc. You yourself will see your char as normal but others wont. I'm 99 percent sure that only goes for strength not dex.

Only stats from charms that are required to wear items will render those items invisible to OTHER users.
As someone stated, it is possible to obtain all of your str/dex from charms thus making your character appear entirely naked to others.

when u rely on +str +dex from charms to wear ur items, ur item normally wont show up when other players view your character.

on a similar topic, alot of zons look like they r punching when they shoot and their multi looks like a crossbow's.
on two of my zons using wfs, one looked like it was punching and the otehr didnt.
how does this glitch work?

I beleive the easiest way to do this is with like just a little bit of str (maybe on a skiller) to use enigma and have all other items need more str then the enigma making them all invis (I think). Then if you use like water walks or something the bow should show up invis because you won't be able to use them without the enigma and the engima without the charms.

another way to do it is to have a weapon or shield on switch with dex and or str, switch to it, equip all, switch back. I know this one works (not sure abou the one above) but when getting corpse is dangerous (you have to grab corpse press w to switch to str/dex stuff get rest of corpse)

Wear all the stats to get your equipment, you don't take anything off. It happens when you don't have eneough strength to equip your heaviest gear without getting +stats from something else, hence the piece that goes invisible will usually give +STR/Dexterity and have a bigger requirement than you have base strength. This goes for both strength & dexterity. Others will see you missing pieces, but you will notice nothing different.

Don't take the charms off.
If you have enough DEX to use the bow with a charm, but you have not enough DEX to use it without the charm, then you will apear naked to other characters.
NOT to yourself. You will see the item on yourself, but other people wont.
