Well since the cat is out of the bag (ladder reset) I think we should continue to play our chars until it is reset (of course), but I think if it gets reset we should play on the new ladder, I dont know what everyone else wants to do though, and Im up for any ideas.

Once the ladder resets we should get togetter asap and get to hell, not bother with non essencial q's, just go for baal hell. A team of sorc's would be recommended.
Just finish it. I don't mind if we'll get slightly worse drops.
Just make sure that any upgrading that needs to be done is done before they reset the ladder.
The game won't be any less fun if we continue on non-ladder.

I like hams idea personally, it sounds good.
We can do both can't we?
I mean, it won't take us long to get through to Hell Baal with our pimped out chars. Maybe we could cut it down to 1 night a week and schedule some KTA get-togethers so we can have a blast at the ladder.
If I understand the message at AS right, we are going to have our own "realm", not ladder anymore but also not in the regular realm once the ladder resets :scratch:
I voted to continue..we might as well do it on a third day or so. But I am also contemplating to use the ladder reset as an excuse to get out of Diablo2..I am really not sure.
I love my two zons, I love the items I have, but after you are Guardian or deep in hell..there is just no incentive to play them anymore (I know there is for you Ham :lol: ). Starting new is a strong urge, still..and if we make this sorc team (a Barb around would still be nice), I'll be there with an enchantress.

Kta 6: The white chicks? 4 sorcs ( at least one of each element) a barb (bo / choice) 2 pallys (one convict, other salvation) and a drood (oak sage). The title has no real meaning, but the movie is funny.

I could see a group of 8 the same characters working...
Just not sure what class would work best for that.
Or one of each ? + one double ?
Ladder runners ?
(I.e. Zoo Necro, Trapper, Blizzard Sorc, Hammerdin, etc etc.)
or perhaps undead hunters ?
Vampire Hunter D ;)
Get Demon/Undead hurting gear if possible, and get a Pala that specifically hurts undead.

I think for kta 6.0, if it starts in a new ladder season we should at least have a bo barb / oak sage druid, and a salvation pally, just in case we run into any problems. Either way for kta 6.0 I would like to make a meteor / orb sorcy (Ive always wanted to make one of these since my first one got killed by the fire enchant bug at the beginning of ladder season one)
I'm fine with most anything... Rabid Druid is fine, trapper is fun... tons of things are fun. Wouldn't mind an Undead Hunter either.
Just thought I'd mention that I now have a 3 socket archon to make the Duress in. 448 def, not the highest possible, but good enough.
Lots of sorcs and a few melee are fine as long as we are all untwinked e.g. at the start of the season. As soon as you twink the sorcs, they just tp ahead with BO on. It's mostly not a lot of fun for 50% of the party. At least that was my experience in KTA 3.0 :(
Lets just finish 5.0..and then maybe put 6.0 on hold until ladder starts. Some ppl here expect the reset to take quite some time still.
Like I said: Enchantress for me.
We also might want to get a few really dedicated ppl together that will play every evening for 3-4 hours and really try to be on the ladder for as long as possible. IIRC, Ham mentioned s.th like that a few weeks (months) ago

I think the best thing to do is that all KTA ppl become GATppl aswell and run the newladderteam from there, go to the site and read the post about it.
That is if you are still with us in the new ladder Det?

Hm...I guess in the end I will be sticking around. It's just right now that the announcement of coming end to the season has kinda stopped my enthusiasm to play. Which is especially sad since I have just gotten all the nice items like full M'avinas and the SS from you.
But secretly I am considering the setup of my Orb/enchantress :lol:
So, Ham (or Silvervixen for that matter)...if you plan on an all out attempt to make an Enigma or CoH after all in the few remaining hours/days/weeks of the ladder, I gladly give you the SS back to trade for runes. Add to that my Shako and I also still have some runes (1 GUL, 1 IST, 2 UM, 1 MAL) that might otherwise just rot away.

We'll probably have finished hell and reached lvl 99 by the time the reset comes.

I'm probably only going to play the new season when it starts. So thx Det fo the offer, but i have no idea what to do with all of my items, i have to give it some thought.

For next ladderseason i plan to be in the topladder, so that will consume some time^^ and for recreation i plan to kill a number of pvm players. So i think there will be little time left for idea's, but you never know.

Y i did, forgot about that, he was on spot 80something iirc when he died, didnt realy understand the 1.10 patch back then. Lol, he wasnt even a baalrun gamer, well he did baal but on his own for mf, no fanatic party play to lvl i mean. Couple that with the fact that i didnt even start playing ladder till i had made an ama lvl75 in nonladder first. And after that i never made a serious attempt to run for the ladder topspots, look at the necro, he was nr 80 something and he didnt even try to be there realy.
So i think its very possible to be in the top ladder, especialy with people like KTA and GAT. See, not only do i plan to be in the topladder but i also wanna be there right from the start, thats why i say forget q's, go full blast for baal.
And dont forget, 10.000 firstdrop baalruns should bring in some bacon! Even without mf.
Anybody interrested? The keypart here is when it resets, get a party all the way true the game, after that its baal ad lib. The faster we are at baal hell the better chance we stand.
Well, i would sure love to be there for the first rush and getting my enchantress going.
After that i am pretty sure that I cannot hold up with you timewise.

Well after that doesnt matter coz you char is at baal so you can run him at your own time.
AAARRGGHHH...apart from this being a black day for KTA 5.0, I wonder where did probowl go off to...after you were there at 20:00. S.th to do with the lag? Green couldn't join for 10 mins..maybe it was worse across the Atlantic?

I will probably play most nights when the new ladder starts. Not for many hours at a time, but long enough to get a dozen or so baal runs in each night.
Looking forward to having a go at the ladder with you Ham.
