Well I'd like to give a big thanks to everyone. For some reason I feel I should give special mention to holy, even though he doesn't even read these forums.....or have e-mail....or do anything online but play d2.....hmm uh ya skipping ahead.....
I appreciate all the help and everyone who played with me and everything. I'd like to thank the forum guys who actually have toughed it out and made some good gains on asia.
I'll probably keep playing asia until next ladder season. Its a nice quiet place to wait for a new ladder. And maybe I can help some other TEBs and friends and forum people up the ladder as well.

Bird that's awesome. I remember the first day I read the Asian Challenge thread, and a lvl 81 necro asked you if you were going for the #1 spot. Your reply: "Nah, just going for top 16. That'd be cool to have 2 characters in the top 16 on 2 realms." Shame, lying like that. That's really cool though, once I get D2 installed again I'll practice, and then aim for Asia1 HC top spot. Sticking to one realm, I might be able to do it.
Holy rocks. Nobody in all of D2 has helped me as much. Also, I have a question for people who play classic on all realms, East, West, Europe, and all the Asia ones. I'm looking for a realm to play on. Really, I'm sick of East, most of the people there suck. I'm thinking West may be similiar? Asia3 looks more populated than Asia1, but that would be better for running on Asia1. Europe seems nice. So can anyone help me make a choice? Which one, Europe or Asia1?

I was looking to play Classic hcl on Asia because east is just getting boring...I find all my stuff legit and try and sell it but they say i ask to much(skulders for um rune) so im getting tired of it. So i was thinking of starting fresh on classic. Maybe a sorc or something not to sure. Any info would be nice bird :) like where yall hang out and some Starter Char Info(what would be good ^^)

Rekoc, there may be some "TEB norm" games, and the only channel there is half SC xpac, half HC classic.
OP TEB is the channel or ASIAUSA1 iirc if anyone is hanging, rarely, if you want to try it just scroll back through the threads and pick up a few accounts to f-list. Sometimes there is a public game on (I sometimes start one) but often private, but easy to find once you tie in to some of the regulars. It is a refreshing change of pace.

Europe probably has the highest hcc population of all the servers. And the players aren't as much out to pk u as they are on east/west in my opinion. And I think the lag isn't as bad on europe as compared to asia servers. So I'd go with asia3 unless u want to play with us on asia1 where there are no players and pks and lag and ........maybe I should stop while I'm behind....
a guide to lvling low chars: I can give you one but it depends what class.. and what you want to go for in the long run.
And oh ya I'm Chinese......AZN PRD!!!!! J/K I'm from Texas and I live on a ranch....I'm serious.....if they ever figure this out I'm sure the asian nations will join arms to murder me....a hick atop the asian ladder......You'd think that wouldn't last long.......

thats holy and stinger, stinger has pw to my acct so he can enchant, I can enchant , and holy( child of of pain) has his own enchanter.....but if u msg holy u gota msg him about 47 times......feel free to spam him he takes no offense. He just tends to drift off into his own little world and u gota harass him a while before he comes back around sometimes....but once u get rollin /w him hes a pretty cool guy.

I was wondering what happened to the Asian Invasion. I only participated for a very short time, but had the pleasure of playing with holy, STINGER, yourself and others. I enjoyed the few brief hours before other commitments dragged me away.
If i was going to switch full time to a new Classic relm wih the biggest popula it would be Europe, but unfortunately thier times for play dont match mine very well. Also, if you are wantintg to make a chase at the ladder there be prepared to run a lot, I think those Europeans in Classic are either just flat out nutz or team up a bit on thier ladder guys.
Asia is a good time, it is reasonably relaxed baring a few assholes like StoneOfChickenHack (this guy likes to use StoneOf on all his characters) a few of the Reich guys are simply just assbags also, but msot of them are nice. Dont trust any of them until you know which ones are which.
If things work out well tonight I will have my new sorcy thru a bigger part of Hell, she is midway thru Act 1, and If I can either get my second puter for BO away from my little nephew or my wife, or somone with a Barb to go with me I will be in Act 4 tonight if not then tomorrow.
Only bad part about Asia other than some lag is that it is ruff to get games much larger than 2-5 people, and 2-3 are more of the average and 6-8 is like a big party you just dont want to leave!
Most every night Holy, myself, and Rathi are on a lot. Khianna, Viamede, Hung, Bird, Soul, Death, and others are on at least some most every night, some nights a lot, some nights not long due to commitements. There are others also, but this is basically the bulk of it. Weekends we tend to have pretty decent crowds as we have a few people that are weekend warriors (with the game).
BTW, it really didnt take long for Bird to hit #1 and lately he has ran sparringly, hell he could of gotten it a few weeks ago if we had full runs easy.

Some hard lvlers over here in the Euro zone. The current #1 sorc, #4 overall @lvl93, did as much as 430 CS runs in one day. I heard the guy is now trying to reach lvl 80 in norm LOD. :uhhuh: I think we'll prolly have lvl 94 in classic euro soon.

I think is is hard for LoD players to understand what a 93 in Classic is when it comes to exp/run. I mean I have a 96, and I would be 97 by now if I ran her and the exp is still good IMO, but there is no way in hell I would hit 93 in Classic. The exp sucks at 90 I dont think I could handle it much higher than that although I did almsot get 92 in 1.09 but over a long period of time doing many other things also.
i just am not the type to play a single guy all thetime
Lvl 84 in classic is about like lvl 90 in LOD for this 1.10 patch, iirc.
I haven't played classic in so long, but I remember quitting most chars when they hit 84 because it was just too slow.
90 or maybe as high as 93 or 94 is that way in LOD, imo (I've only got a lvl 90 that I hardly play anymore).
Anyone who ever hit 90+ in classic (except when it temporarily had the same monster lvls as LOD) has achieved a very painful accomplishment, imo. :D

Holy helps everybody.......dies alot due to drops......keeps making new guys like nothing happened......uses the worst gear ANYONE can imagine and makes it work........the man defines GHETTO and is my GOD of GHETTO. Hey he has a WW Barb using Patriach in Act 4 Hell and KILLING things. Do you know what a Patriach is??? like a 65-96 (2) Great Sword........I dont have the guts to make a Patriach using Barb!!! Clegs is as far as i go!
I know I was a little help to your #1 but not a lot since my sorcy croaked at 86 to the lag monster, and you have ran alot after I had to get to bed, but you still got there.

I think I might be able to start playing again in about a week. I'm letting a friend use my East account for any items he needs, but I'm trying to convince him to play Asia HC. He already plays SC with the needed mentality, so I think he'd have fun. Anyway, if my barb still has that Chaos and if I can find this Crown, I'm thinking I might try a Hammerdin again. Paladins look cool in crowns.
For the skills, I'm going to max Hammers, Vigor, and Concentration first. Then I'm not sure on Holy Shield or Blessed Aim. The defense bonus on HS would be really nice, along with the big block and duration. But then, BA would give me more dmg. With no +skills, I'd still be doing around 4.5k. Also, since I don't have dex boosting items like Tearhaunch, Bladebuckle, or Mahim-Oak, I think I'll use a +2 scepter for a while. But any advice on how to go about putting skills in HS and such?
Well, My Paly is Max Hammer, Vig, Blessed, lvl 16 Conc at 80 I think wiht only enuff HS for max Block, or it may be 72% I forget.
Less thatn max hammers will kills fine so dont be afraid to max HS is that is what you wish to do. I garuntee you that I can solo CS wiht Hammers and Mediate, but it will take me a lot longer than if i used Conc. I ran Flayer Hell solo using Mediate. Base hammers wiht no Conc is like 1400, and by god anyhting ITD and unblockable will kill stuff!!!
I havent used anyhting of yours so it should all be there.
The Asia stuff was fun. I was gone for two weeks on vacation, but classic was a nice but tough change. Thanks to all I played with but with the ladder reset it is back to lod and west.

Well, we/TEB wil be back East at reset. I have already extended invitations to a few of the guys that came over to come East, Join TEB, or even if that isnt thier bag, to basiacally just be in contact.
We got a BIG number of mannered people out of this challenge and it has been good fun. If any of you I have not talked to so far wish to consider the TEB full time thing please give me a holler.
As for the Asia thing............we wil do it again, probably somewhere near the end of this next ladder season, and I am sure we wil post an invite again.
Meanwhile, I and most of use will still be in Asia til the reset for the most part

Well it was certainly awesome power levelling through nightmare with a full to near full group (rarely have I leveled so fast). Sad for The-Fighmaster, I gather he was standing in too close to FE boss explosion. Did or could someone loot for him? We all moved on quickly and I didn't think of it till after the game. I gather Hung bit it in the next game as well. If either need anything just grab me when I'm on. I have some stuff I can spare to get'em started again if they need. Holy and I started A1 hell with barb and his zon but we could use some more killing power if anyone is up for it sometime in the next week. Cold and Physical immune with mana burn left us scratching our heads (one zerk/mana gone type thing).

Hung got a bit ballsy and got up in D's face and recieved a fireflood for his troubles that took him down fast. Since he was using a staff I am sure he has less than max rez and you just cant face D up close liek that with anything less than Max or you are asking for it.

HEH Heres the story:
I had just got back from 1.5 hours in the dentests chair, the right side of my face still numb, was almost done with my 2nd whiskey and diet coke, (using a straw so as not to dribble) . My orb sorc was at about level 48 and this was my 1st diablo run with her. Thought I could stand in there and static, hell did it with meph no problem lol. Lightning res was maxed but fire was about 48 i think. Perhaps I was a bit under the influence of something heh. There is no doubt I was way to cocky and did not respect the big guy.

Hmm guess I missed all the fun eh? Sorry Viamede, that last time we played there was a big storm. But yesterday I partied with a sorc, finished act 2, and half of act 3. Then I soloed the rest of normal today. Some alright rares, only unique was the Ward. But it was fun, I did some cows to lvl 29, but then my ping shot up from 200 to 3000/2500 so I had to stop.
Anyway, I'm staying at Asia for the reset. East is too competitive for me, I have summer work from school I still have to do, won't have the time.
Piggy: Too bad...hope your teeth are better anyway :D . I have noticed that sorc's sometimes take the worst from D as the lightning hose does way more damage out a bit then it does if your right up next to him. Thus a sorc coming in to static range is at the worst spot unless someone else is tanking and taking the brunt.
Cerb: I have run my pally now through to A4 nightmare but at 38 he has to go back and level a ton more before moving on. He needs some armour help so I am hoping something adequate for hell drops. I may actually use my first imbue in Asia...never seems to be the right moment till after I die. Staying in Asia hmm. Well I am planning on mostly doing classic so I don't know if that will be too competitive in the East. Don't know if anyone else is staying but I might be tempted...have to think :scratch: and then :surprise: who knows
Classic East is competetive for the top 10 and #1 of each class, but ranking high in Class or in the tope 50 isnt hard. Take a look at its ladder now, I have two Necros lvl 87 and 88 in the top 16 of Necros and i havent ran them in probably 4 months!

We should flood the bnet admins with emails on why they are not going to acknowledge classic players, especially hardcore classic on the enshrinement thing, when most or many of the hardcore classic players are among the best and most legit d2 players. I tried my hand at Hardcore classic today on asia and it was great fun, I was only able to get to level 15 with a sorc after around 4 hours playing lol. It was a welcome challenge and alternative to the already twinked out corrupted current ladder xpac. I'm sure most would agree that although a level 99 on hardcore expansion is an admirable achievement getting 90+ in classic hardcore is even tougher and more impressive.
Well, I found last night my poor 96 Sin who was #4 Sin is now #6 and probably will hit #10 before I know it. So I thought I will try and run some and catch up, well we got leech sticks all over the place, Barb teleporting throne, everyone talking about botting, Enigmas, CTA, and HOtOs and how they expect to be lv 97 in a week at reset and it frankly made me feel ill so i left.
Screw it, I cant compete with this crap........
I figured out what among other things basically slowed and then stopped my Baal running last night. It is all the duped up lame screwballs using thier MH that make the runs absolutely no challenge, no fun and virtually nothing but a leech fest. The Spirit trigs slowed my lvling alot but this other crap finally stopped it.
Stingers poor ole fully quested untwinked 96 will just fall from the top 10 gracefully and all those illegits above me can kiss my ***! Yes, I know that not all above me are illegit.......so you know who you are if you are or you arent.

Hmm well I saw a Crazywolf named char running with Holy and Khianna (iirc) and wondered. I was levelling in NM and my Necro was much lower level so didn't join. Enjoy your stay in Asia. Players have thinned a bit as people await reset but it is still a nice place to be.
Stinger: Good..so we'll see you running classic at reset then I gather :thumbsup: (unless you think attitudes will change if the dupes/hacks drop for a few days following reset).
I just thought I'd stop by and say hello. I lost my last hell character a few nights ago and all I had left was 2 lvl 6's...lol. So I figured I'd just return over to the East side. I'll be playing nothing but Clasic since I dont own xpac. These past few days back in East have been so-so. I love the 5 ~ full games for quick lvl's but being hostiled every 20 to 30 min. have become truly annoying. And my god, I had to use that squelch button more times in one night than the whole entire time I was in Asia. It's definitely making me homesick. That's right, since most of my HC life has been spent over in Asia I claim that as my HC home.
If anybody else is on East as of right now let me know. As I have yet to see a TEB. Anyways I best get back to work, hope to see you all sometime soon. Take care.

I'm 36 or 37, questing mostly solo through NM. Holy and I ran Andy a couple times yesterday, Shard was found. He refused to take it, so once I can find some place to get dex, I'll get it off a mule. Also questing I found a Gravespine, no FCR, but some mana and dex/str. Have fun playing guys.
I just thought I'd stop by and say hello. I lost my last hell character a few nights ago and all I had left was 2 lvl 6's...lol. So I figured I'd just return over to the East side. If you don't use it khianna still needs a shard.
Just counted ladder 60 TEBs on top 1000 overall , that means 6% of that ladder is us ^ ^ good job guys.
Thanks to all for hell-p last night....one act to go. Have few res ideas to fool with and will be trying some imbues when get some white mage plate. Khi has next shard I find (if). Anyone else notice way more immune group bosses on NM lately?

Ender is a private relm for DII and WC....not sure abotu what else it runs. Soul has been playing there and at least I know there is no reset coming there. I just stop and check East and Asai for people periodically.
In case you all dont know my acct I will use first on East at reset it StingerHc. i have others but will start wiht this one, so get it on your lists and then I can get you all hooked up wiht the others in the first couple of days.
Ender has 1.10, but it isnt "patched" the FE mod is like it was at early 1.10......i soloed Ancients NM last night with Sin and was a bit worried when (2) were FE, but my 2600 Traps smoked them fast!!!

Gee sorry you lost your pally. It was fun running with two different auras spamming hammers. This is one reason I dislike cows as unless you kill in swaths it is too easy to get swarmed and I expect they come too many at once to catch all in the hammer field then you end up with a couple you keep missing while they wail on you. Mooing is annoying too.
Thanks for the leech ring should help me a lot Cerb. Just need to find a Goldskin or something to pump the res and defence up and should be much better in hell. I drop from 80 to 70% chance to hit dropping one angelic ring but I think the leech and plus 1 after kill will help more and then I can maybe swap out my broc's to help crappiest resists :D . If you need any stuff to rebuild let me know. Tho why bother with reset only 1 day and 8 hours and 40 minutes away :D .
BTW got a Mahim-Oak out of chest on the Andy run, in her chamber, after you dropped. She dropped nothin. Pays to pop the chests it does.

Ahem meant to say one day 8 hours now edited. (staying up to 2 am playin D2 does that..gogo holidays). That was my Conner guess. Smiley means I ain't got a clue. I bet Friday for the weekend. After that could be forever....or at least it will feel that way.
BTW whats your split on life/mana for your tele/blizz sorc and did you go for low teleport cost?
I put in like 20 Energy and will no more........no that I decided to invest in teleport I shouldnt of gone any mana. Right now whe has almsot 1300 life with your BO, and tele is 19 per instead of 25 per at lvl 1 and i have +1 Skill. Next couple lvls is 2 in ES to hit 50% then i will invest in teleport until i feel comfortable, probably at least 10 in it to hit around 14 per, or maybe more......Not sur ei will have time to finalize her test......well maybe i should just pour my heart into it and stay off Ender tonight and tomorrow and figure this out.

My telesorc has about an even split of mana life. About 450 life and mana at level 57. Of course my build is a little different than sting, as I am not investing in teleport and seeing how that works out. And I'm going high eshield, so need the extra mana.
Found a plus 2 barb skill mace to switch in for BOing w Khi last night should help a tad. Found steelclash this morn if someone wants to go with stormeye I gave away in Birds giveaway.
Thanks again for the rares Bird...res now either 75/55/70/43 or 75/75/61/34 with 3% less life steal in hell dep on boots/gloves, using former as I think lit hurts way more than cold...so not too bad.
If that God forsaken ladder doesnt reset TODAY I would like to get some good runs going over the holiday when people can.
I would like to give a good hard test to my new sorc if possible.
Mana burn cold immune took down the sorc in hell today. Stupid thing. Frustration is high at the moment. :rant:
So, unless the ladder resets, I don't know how much I'll be on.

Meanwhile I'll slowly move through my summer work from school and plot a dueler to take down that Stone guy. He's annoying.

In all seriousness, Stone paid us a little visit today in a NM game. I was giving BO, he hostiles with his lvl 37 pala, we make fun of him, he leaves, brings an assortment of characters, and then comes back with the pala and insists I duel him. I do, he chickens 4-5 times, then brings in a barb. I try to War Cry him to death, didn't work well, made fun of him again until he left. Good times, good times.

I was real pleased to see your Zon at 6 on the zon ladder though. That is an awesome accomplishment with a tough build in hell.

I still think reset is coming more immune bosses in NM and immunities changing as they were last night seems to suggest something afoot.
Yes would like to finish hell with Barb sometime this weekend if possible. So if no reset then I'll be on a bit.
