i too use an ethereal steel carapace, 25xx defense. i have around 34K defense with shout. Most people i duel say " damn you are hard to hit"

smiters are always a joy to duel, i wouldn't use my eth carapace against them for sure, its either ED/str armor, or enigma, since defense doesn't matter

The best possible for bvb is an eth +2 zodded arcaine. But those are a little hard to come by =] Eth steels will do just fine in the meantime.

eth carapace is awesome for BvB but then again i hear enigma is winning these days for some reason, i heard from a godly barb that he put eth valor 6 feet under back in the day, it turned crap overnight.
