Help me find an eth great poleaxe

Well,according to d2data,death bregadiers have the best chance to drop it,I found a magical one in Hauls of Vaught after some 30 runs(entire level).I am wearing a full ik set so not much magic find.

Is there a better place to find one?Does the act 1 pit drop?

I dont where its best - but i found a sup. eth. +8ED on my way to Baal. Its now a 400% ED+ 52 AR BOTD. Its a great weapon....

from which monster?and which level?

I think it was worldstone level 2 in Hell diff. and i cant remember the name of monster - but i think the bosses of them are called Greater Hell Spawn.

if i remember my mf lessons correctly, you should be wearing no mf to increase your chance of dropping ethereal white

if i remember my mf lessons correctly, you should be wearing no mf to increase your chance of dropping ethereal whiteThis is right. With more and more mf the chance of every item that's dropped becoming magic / rare / set / unique increases alot. Take off al %mf and go do some runs.

Any lvl 85 area will be able to drop it just the same. The less mf you have, the better chance you have of finding it. Any one that drops without sockets will get 6 sockets from larzuk quest reward if you find it in any of the lvl 85 areas and, I believe, anywhere in hell difficulty.

Search these forums about area lvls and you'll find lots of interesting stuff and probably stumble across one of the many charts of area lvls for every area in the game.
