Uhm, if there is then I've never heard of it, I don't think this exists. 450% is the most a rare weapon can get, perhaps you got it mixed up? I'm not a gamecode expert, but I've never seen anyone talk about this.

if the weapon spawns with 2 sockets you can ram 2 ohms in and it has 550ed :o

I've seen someone talking about it. On these forums. Didn't hear of it too much either.
But knowing this, makes me know what %ed on the ebotd I can ask for knowing I have an arreat 40/15ias and a Duress.

Lets assume a perfect BotD with a perfect steelrend and ed jewels in SS+arreats
415+60+40+40 = 555, which would result in 105% to much
But ofcourse thats not gonna happen, so lets take more realistic numbers (ones i've actually seen on a barb)
402+58+38+40= 538, and he got extra damage with every piece. So unless it's a display bug, I *think* the guy was wrong.

Nah, they can't be ethereal so that ain't true.
And by that u mean...?
The ethereal 50% damage mod applies before all other damage mods, which in turn makes them deal a lot more damage. So, if you had like a 400% ethereal weapon and a 500% non-eth one, the eth one would still do more damage (in general, unless it was on a really weapon weapon).
Example:
100 damage weapon
400% ethereal: (100 * 1.5) * 5 = 750 damage
500% non-eth: 100 * 6 = 600 damage
Craft items can't be ethereal, while rares can, so as far as highest actual damage goes, rares can get more, though craft blood axes can get the highest displayed %. That's what he meant by that.
