Hi i m building an enchantress and have a few questions
My equip

Shako or gaze ??
Maras or highlord ?
Passion/beast/6 shaeled phase blade ?
Stormshield or sanctuary ?
112/60 ias armor or stone or arkaine or lionheart or whatever(no coh plz) ?
Verdungos or tgods?
Boots ? i have no idea
Draculs probably
Rings ravenfrost/bullkathos ?
Skills

Enchant
Warmth
Fire mastery
Telekinese
rest in energy shield
Stats
====
Str to req
Dex to req
Vit ~500 life ????
Rest in energy
Any suggestions are welcome

I just cut and pasted from my other post to the other enchantress thread here.
I play hardcore only and just finished a melee sorc. Here's my build in HC it might differ a little in SC, not sure though. She does about 3.7k-5.4k damage w/ orb as a backup skill.
20 warmth
20 enchant
20 fire mastery
20 orb
1 tele
1 light mastery
1 cold mastery
1 in all prereqs.
Gear:
UM'd 40/25 levi
'passion' phase blade
+ enchant 'leaf' staff on switch
shako
UM'd stormsheild
tgods (Verdungos occastionally)
magefists
waterwalks
highlords ammy
ravenfrost
Rare ring with light damage, 14 str, 41 fire res and 11 res for all cold, light and poison.
Stats:
Strengt: Enough to equip your gear (a lot of the gear I used has +str so I didn't need that much base, I put about ~125 hardpoints in str)
Dex: Enough to equip the phase blade which is about 135.
Vita: Rest goes here
Energy: Base
She's got about 960 life and 380 mana.
I was debating whether or not to use the passion but after trying it out, it is the ONLY sword for a melee sorc, she strikes extremely fast with zeal and can pretty much solo hell (with caution and taking my time). She also struggled with resists in the beginning but I traded for an UM for my armor and some res charms and they are about maxed in hell which is essential. I'm raising my merc now to handle the cold immunes while I orb away. Anyways, like I said that is my hc build, sc may be different.

I just did orb for more help with the fire immunes, so what you do with those extra points is pretty much personal preference.
Edit: I was going to put 1 point into energy sheild then max Tk and let my merc handle fire immunes but with a mana pool so low, it's not worth it, especially if you get mana burned with happens frequently when playing melee.

hmm what about to max a cold armor ? (this is primarily pvp)

You should consider a build using vengeance(kingslayer rune skill) and boost your damage with sorc marteries(fire, then lite and finaly some cold if some points are left at the end of the build...).

already tried that, went to slow for me :)
USE A BEAST weapon to transform into a bear. You get an insane boost to life and, attack speed if you use a weapon like 4 sheal 2 15ias/ar phaseblade. Plus being a bear boosts your physical dmg a bit. When in bear form I can absolutely destroy any char without absorb or low life.
