Help with a 2-handed WW pvp Barb

im gonna make a eth ghost spear botd ww barb soon and i need to know if this set up will work:
(its a pubby pvp build btw)

skills:
20 ww
20 bo
20 spear mastery
20 shout
1 resist, iron skin, r/w, prerequisites, zerk
anything else in either conc, zerk, or iron skin
------------
equip:
um arreats
enigma
bloodfist or dracs
eth botd ghost spear 385ed
sandstorm
raven
angelic ring and ammy
verdungos
echoing weps on switch

anni and rest of inventory with max/ar/life scs and max/ar or life gcs maybe
------------
stats:
strength: enough for equip
dex: around 100-150?
vit: rest
energy: none
------------
few questions i have:
1) should i get around 200+ strength for more dmg or just keep it low as possible?
2) how much dex would i need to get decent ww ar?
3) about how much damage would i achieve with the build i have layed out?
4) what would be optimal ww dmg with a 2h ww barb?
5) what changes would i need to achieve max resist in hell with minimal dmg loss?
6) any other suggestions/changes?

im making this build to kill both melee and casters

any help will be appreciated

no more than is absolutely needed. I'm getting a base of 232 because i want the highest def armor I can get (sacred armor?)
2) how much dex would i need to get decent ww ar?
don't use dex for AR, plenty of eq for that, might have to make sacrifices if you aren't hitting enough.
3) about how much damage would i achieve with the build i have layed out?
good luck figuring that one out, I'm still trying to get enough info on my polearm barb when he reaches endgame.

if you wanted max res I'd say you might wana A, hook up with a aura pally. B, use a s/s with mostly res on the shield and jewelry. or C, sacrifice your nicer equipment for res stuff.
6) any other suggestions/changes?
non other than it looks like it could be an interesting build. if you had uber high res's then casters would be a little mad at you :P

ill prolly switch to some 20/5 scs for resists.

and since i dunno how to calcualte what my dmg will be, does anyone have a polearm/spear barb (using eth botd, they all have near the same dmgs, enough to get a good estimate). if so, what was ur dmg and resist; any reccomendations?

That's with 39 3/xx/xx charms.

Though without a shield, you're generally going to get your *** handed to you in melee pvp =/

and this reminds me... is there a char editor for single player that works on v1.10? I used to use Jamella and Shadowkeeper but I don't think they are updated anymore. I'd like to try and see what my barb will look like when I finally get him done.

did u max the mastery and ww?
nice barb, but i thought u could reach a much higher dmg with a 2h.
if so ill just sell my 2hander cause with the ed on mine i can sell it for more than it cost to make.

also how did u max resist and get that high ar? demon limb? and what jewelry do u use?

Hi--

My Ghost Spear pvp barb does 16k zerk and 10k ww (395% ghost spear). I've opted for max zerk over shout for the 1 hit zerk kills (actually quite useful). Go for rends and gore riders, btw. You'll want the damage. As for charms I have 10x combat +30+ life (over 5k life). Combat charms give much better ww damage for a ghost spear barb. I have 3 max with life and some res with life for the rest (and 1 anni). Btw--if you want a change of pace for melee, you can swap out the ghost spear for a hyperion jav and ss. I hit about 4k ww with my rare eth replenish hyperion jav. if you go that route, pop at least 1 point in throwing mastery so you can annoy ppl by throwing in between wws. Also, go with some sort of ias jewel in your arreats and storm if you opt for javs.

Luis, that's about topped-out. That test barb is wearing enigma, gores, 20 str/5x ed steelrends, verdungo's, arreat's with a 40% ed jewel, and the angelic set pieces/demon limb charges, along with a 20/20 annihilus and 39 3/xx/xx charms; combat charms could theoretically give you more damage, of course, as they grant 8% damage each, though you'll be hard-pressed to break 10k, and you'll lose some life/ar as compared to fine/vita smalls. I can't quite remember the exact % on the polearm, as it's been awhile since I rolled it.

That's at level 99 with 20 whirl/mastery/bo/shout as well; I created that character a few months back when people were curious as to the type of damage you could get with a pole-whirler. Resists are maxed because I think the pic was taken in normal; it's hard to get max resists with a 2h barb.

You'd still be better off with a berserker/stormshield (melee), berserker/[hoto or wizzy] (caster) combo barb for all around pvp.

Careful man, some admin's probably gonna come in here and close this thread now, because you mencioned a single player character editor. Been reading the community forum lately? threads are being closed and threats of bans are going around cause some people were asking for the item pack that used to be hosted for download on diabloii.net. Get this .. they're afraid that people are going to download the item pack .. with all the items in the game .. then start tradeing the items in the single player forum .. the intelligence here amazes me .. download ALL the items .. then trade in the single player forum ... Trade for what??? you have all the items .. sheesh .. anyway ..

but to answer your question .. I don't know of a character editor, I've used hero editor or something like that before.. and I have the item pack with the unskilled lvl 99 characters .. I have it on my website .. I would post you the link but if I do .. seriously .. the thread will get closed.. so just fire me a pm if you want the pack ..
