The Legion of Newbs started Monday on their quest to Guardianship. We began with a Concentration Barb, Fire Druid, Vengeance Pally, Firewall Sorc, Skelemancer and a Confusomancer.

It was a dark and stormy night as the heros huddled around the blazing campfire. Within a few minutes we headed out into the evil-inhabited Blood Moor. The Paladin led the way, slicing through the minions with his gleaming sword and scorching their deformed skin with his holy fire. The other heros close behind him. The Barbarian, hacking through the monsters and shouting his crys of war. The Necromancer raising the skeletons of the fallen. His Necromancer brother, bending the will of anyone who opposed him, making them turn on their allies. The Druid, throwing scorching hot molten boulders at anyone in his path. And the Sorceress, shooting balls of fire at her enemies.

We had soon cleansed the Den of Evil and returned to Akara to reap our handsome reward. Kashya gave us the grave news of one of her dear friends being corrupted by the evil queen, Andariel. We then hurried off to destroy the demented soul of Blood Raven. She was slewn after a scorching fireball hit her body. We traveled back to the Rogue Camp to receive a Rouge Scout to fight against the forces of evil along side us.

As we were celebrating the victory of Blood Raven, Akara came beside the Paladin and whispered something in his ear. He nodded solemnly. He told us of what had happened to the Eldar Cain. He was inprisoned in Tristram. We knew what we had to do. We ventured to the ancient Cairn Stones and used the scroll to open a portal to a place we knew not of. As soon as we had appeared on the other side we saw a zombie of a man once know as Griswald. He cursed us with a spell but we fought him off and finally defeated him. We released Cain from his cage and returned to town. He was extremely grateful and identified all of our items for us and gave us information of our new enemy, The Countess.

We had learned that her lair was on the fifth level of the tower in the Black Marsh. We traveled through the Underground Passage slicing through all who opposed us. We made it through to the other end and traveled to the Black Marsh. We stood before a bellowing tower and fear struck deep into our souls. We knew we must push forward and ventured deeper and deeper to finally the last level of the tower. The Countess stood before an enormous chest and laughed at our threats. After this battle she would never laugh again...

When we returned to the camp, Charsi told us about her Legendary Malus that was taken from her by the evil demons. We found that it was held in the Barracks by a terrible creature known as The Smith. He fought us off but our combined power was too much for him to overcome. We returned the Malus back to Charsi and learned from Cain our final quest in this land. We must defeat the evil queen, Andariel. We traveled down into the Catacombs and slew everyone devil before us. We reached the final level of the Catacombs and there, standing before us was the queen of all demons, Andariel. We attacked with all our power and brought her down. She threw her poisonous gas at us as one final stand but we had come too far to fail. With one slice of the axe Andariel's head dropped beside her and we had succeeded. A magic portal opened besided her corpse that returned us to The Rogue Camp. We were congratulated by the inhabitants but Cain told us we must move on. Warriv took across the hot desert into the city of Lut Gholein...

We talked with the townsfolk and was told by Atma that an evil creature haunted the sewers of Lut Gholein, his name was Radament. We hired warriors to fight by our side and went down into the dark, damp sewers. Evil was no match for our combined power and we headed for the third level. We were confronted by Radament but we were not intimidated. Radament fell in a few seconds.

We had one last quest before we were to rest for a few days. We were to find the lost Horadric Cube. We left town and the bright sun hit our faces. Our Barbarian had urgent news so we hurried the best we could. We entered the Halls of the Dead and I now know why it has that name, for you will see that it was not only the demons that were to die that night. As we rushed down the passage fighting our way through the monsters our Barbarian was struck with greed at the site of the Horadric Cube. He pressed forward, ignoring all things beside him. He entered the last room and was suddenly ambushed by the Undead. His companions were too late as they saw his slain corpse laying beside the treasure. His friends fought bravely to avenge his death and cleared the room. They grabbed his body along with the Horadric Cube and returned to town. They buried the Barbarians body outside of town and tried hard not to be overcome with grief. The death of his dear friend upset the skelemancer so much that he decided to go into a deep sleep and never fight along side the group again.

Do not be discouraged came a voice from inside the Palace. For I see a great warrior joining you in your quest. We knew not of what the voice spoke of but for some odd reason we believed it. Suddenly a great Barbarian warrior jumped out from the Palace along with another druid. We had learned the Barbarian was the son of the companion we had just lost and the Druid was his friend. Out of the shadows also appeared an Assassin who we learned were friends of both the Barbarian and the Druid. They were all to join us in our never-ending quest to destroy evil, once and for all.

Our next quest begins tomorrow at 3pm eastern. Our Skelemancer quit because of work and such. A new assassin and druid will join us tomorrow and the barbarian made a new character who he will play also. We hope to get through act 2 tomorrow and get everyone caught up.

I CANNOT do 6:30 anyday. I think I'll split my build into two pieces: Confuse/CE and Skeles. For the person who can't start till 6:30, check the Elite Eight post. They don't start until 10-11 EST

Well then, what are your available times? Considering if we lose another person we will only have around 5 I wouldn't want anyone to miss out.
