Merc for Sorc?

Hi Guys,

I'm playing with a L36 FO/GS sorc. Ive got an Act3 cold merc at the moment, level 19. Is there any way I can tell what kind of damage his spells are doing?

I tend to play in parties, so the ranged attack has been useful, but I'm seriously considering going to an Act5 Barb instead.

What do you guys think? Cold merc Vs Barb?

thanks for the reply.... but I cant seem to find what I'm looking for.....

To clarify a little: Its an Iron Wolf merc (I couldnt remember the name at posting).

Is there anywhere which shows level of merc and level of spell?

Use an act2 nightmare defense merc for holy freeze he slows stuff so u can blast it safely without tanking hits

or, use an act2 defensive hell merc if u want defiance... throw a doom on him for holy freeze, GODLY!

Act 2 Defense/Nightmare Difficulty Merc that is -> Jab/Holy Freeze !!
