I have done 100s of hell pindle runs recently with about 500 mf and still have not gotten a decent drop. Am i just unlucky or is pindle very hard to get good drops on. It would be nice if maybe some other players could share their success stories and how many runs they did. Any suggestions would be appreciated. thanks :uhhuh:

I read in another thread about Pindle that Blizzard lowered Pindle's TC in 1.10 down from the highest possible. That may not account for zero good drops, but that's all I know about the topic.

Sorry to hear about the bad luck, I'm sure we all can appreciate the circumstance.

The question is, what do you mean with "decent" ?

I made perhaps 4000 Pindle runs in 1.10. The best I found was a Cham rune (chance is 1 in 2M :D), followed by Lo. I found an ethereal Steel Carapace, two noneth ones, a CoA, 2x Gris helm, four Tal's armors, Aldor's armor, a Cranium Basher, Horizon's Tornado, 2x Stonecrusher, all elite swords except Azurewrath (which I found at Meph) and GF, all elite armors except Tyrael's Might and Templar's Might, some of the rare stuff to complete M'avina's and Natalya's set twice each (the rest from Meph) etc. etc. etc.

My blizzard sorc has perhaps 550 MF, her merc around 300 and she finds perhaps 5 uniques the same number of set items per 100 runs. My guess is that one in ten is elite...

Pindle's max TC has been lowered from 90 to 87, but as all TC 90 stuff has been put into TC 87, this change was pointless. In fact he drops more elite stuff than before (including all 1.09 stuff)because so many have been added in 1.10. These were failed uniques before. The only items he can't drop are Tyrael's Might, Azurewrath and Arachnid Mesh - not because of their TC, but because their ilvl is higher than Pindle's maximum (which is 86).

pindle was nerfed in the 10 patch...I think that pit runs would be better.

The pit is a cave in the Tamoe Highlands

its best to do pit runs in hell because there are a ton of unique monsters in there and they can pretty mch drop anything..

The pits is the cave which can be found in the Tamoe Highland. The bosses and champions in there can drop any item in the game, except for: the high damage elemental charms, cow kings set and annihlus. Just remember this only applies in Hell difficulty. Do not run there in NM or normal, it is a complete waste of time.

There are a heap of elemental immunes there so running it with a hammerdin would probably be your best bet.

Good luck!
