Diablo Clone?

I heard about this and i was wondering if its true that theres a super diablo that sometimes appears. I want to ask whats different about this one and how do you make him appear. If there is a section about this already just point me to it.

it's just a pigment of your hallucination! No, he is real and you can spawn him if your in hell. Still not sure how, it has something to do with mechants selling soj's, (maybe even your char) and a particular server. When the newest version of diablo came out, (1.1 right? I'm not sure of the version names) I got invited to about five diablo clone games. that was in the first day of the new version. I haven't seen him since, which sucks. Every once in awhile I still see the "XXX amount of soj's sold to merchant's" and haven't seen him spawn. I don't even know if he still does, but if you should ever find him, I hope you and your char are both on drugs because you'll need it. anni charm is worth it. good luck, I'll see you in hell.

If in the same server, 80-120 SoJ have been sold since the last time the Diablo clone spawned, he will spawn again. He will take the place of the closest super uniqe monster. Diablo clone is the only monster that can drop an Annhilus (how do you spell that anyway?).

hes not that tough if you have a melee character with plenty of light/fire resists and a healthy dose of crushing blow with some life steal. theres a very good dclone hunter guide on the forums
dont know how to do links but do a forum search for "dclone guide" and it should come up

I can kill hell baal with my hammerdin without touching a potion, but it still takes me half a belt (8 or 9) of full rejuvs to take out dclone. And that's with 75 resists and 10 or 11k hammer damage. (not impressive, but more than enough to get me those annis)

If you want to kill dclone, you sort of need to build a character around that specific task. Stay away from sorcs, as he has 95% fire/ice/lit resist. He only has 50% physical/magical resist, so it's easier to kill him with something like a good bone spear necro or a melee character. And, of course, a hammerdin with the right equipment =P

Anyway, good luck finding him. Like snowieken said, do a search for "diablo clone" on the forums, and there's a thread somewhere that gives you the lowdown on how to find him. It's sort of a pain to do, but it's worth it for the essentially free anni. For your first time fighting him, I recommend that you bring a trusted friend to help you out. Someone with a different kind of character/build than you that can help you out. He's not as tough as some people make him out to be, but he's hard to kill if you don't know how to handle him.

Oh, and if you're melee, don't fear his lightning hose. It doesn't hurt much if you stand right next to him =) It's the armageddon that gets me =P

He is not that tough to kill. Of all my characters, my Fana/Zeal pally can take him down the fastest. As of today, I've killed him 8 times and kept only 3 of the charms. The rest I've gave away to people in the game with me or friends.
