Which Character?

Hey All

I am about to start a new character, but i´m puzzled about which to choose. I plan to solo all the way through hell (if possible), and would like to know if any had some suggestions as to which character is best suited for this task, and which skills is most likely to make me succed. I have read several of the 1.10 guides, but don´t think they give me a clear answer.

I'm not sure if it's in the necro forum or the strategy compendium, but there's a guide for a skelemancer who can apparently make it through hell almost naked. I got a little bored when I tried to make it, myself, mostly because I tend to like to dive in and actually kill stuff, but oh well. Either that or a hammerdin, but don't play a hammerdin if you like to be able to aim your spells. Evil little hammers just keep circling....

MeteOrb Sorces and Hammerdins are also easy to play untwinked and are viable in Hell, soloing...

hammers take some getting used to aiming. if you are new to the game and want a nice easy character to get used to it id say go with a summoning necromancer. if you have played through before and want to try something new then try for a melee character like a zeal paladin. Melee characters tend to be alot more expensive to equip but if you want to stick at it i think they are the most fun. I would say look at a zeal paladin with either fanaticism (spelling?) or holy freeze as your main aura with conviction and vengance on your switch for phys immunes. These are fun and not too expensive to get going. If you want a point for point stat for stat guide do a forum search but id advise anyone to just add what you think you need at the time. Its more fun when its your build :)

Like said skelliemancer is easiest option. How about concentration barbarian? Not very gear dependent either and there is nice guide in baba forum. There is coocie-cutter build and guides for every class which can solo even hell when put some effort for it.

Nah nothing is expensive for PvM :teeth:

Like has been mentioned i'd go with a skellymancer or if you want a little more challenge try a ww/conc barb. I have one that does nicely all the way through hell (except where there are Oblivion knights, gah!!)

Sorcs are also a fun option to play and are relatively cheap as you only really need resistances and +skills gear.
