Which merc. is the best tank for hell pindle runs?

Im currently using an act 2 hell combat merc...but he seems to die once in a while when doing hell pindle runs (he uses 20 dr gaze, shaftstop, and spire of honor)

I'd say the best tank would be either a holy freeze merc, or a defiance merc. They both serve a purpose, especially for pindle.

I've tried both builds, and I prefer the holy freeze myself on my blizzard sorc. The reason your merc is dying is most likely due to the auras on pindle, or being charged by all of the minions at once.

I'd also suggest a holy freeze merc. He's able to slow everything, even cold immunes, which greatly helps to keep him alive. Get some nice leech on him and he will rarely die.
