ebotd for palidan's

Ok i have saved up enough high runes to get me a ebotd. But im not sure what one to choose. I have a zealot pali on uswest non-ladder. So what would be best for him to use. Either a eth beserker axe or eth war spike? I think war spike would be better because it seemed to have more damage and faster speed? or am i just making stuff up. Also i heard that it has a better chance to hit but also does not have as far attack range. Any help would be great.

A war spike has a base speed of -10 (BA has 0), but deals 20% less damage. A BA has reach 3 while a war spike has one of 2.

I would go for the BA.

Plus the speed difference makes no difference whatsoever on a zealot so if you go with Zerk axe you get:

Same speed (4fpa i believe?)
Much more damage
Larger range
Teh sexeh axe look ;)
But also a much larger price tag
