I've got two comps but never really thought about using them for muling. Question.
Do I need two Diablo/LOD keys
If I use comps from behind my NAT firewall, will Battlenet/Diablo get confused over this.
Thanks

Yes you need two cd-keys since you can only log in once with each key
No, bnet will not get confused because bnet doesn't start the communication and thus the connections will not be affected by NAT
Muleing with two computers is the best. I drop lower level stuff but ALWAYS use trade window for good items as even with two computers, sometimes the game drops and 'poof' all your gear on the ground.....gonzo.
you really gotta be careful not to get booted for rejoining the game too quickly though. if your two comps have the same external ip you will both get booted which means... yup you guessed it ^^ poof...gonzo

In that case you can simply switch off and on your router which will give you a new IP address in 99.9% of all cases. You will be back in a minute or so. However, if the game hasn't been old enough (less than 5 minutes), it's still gone, of course.

Thanks for the reply. Cold, very good point, PC is initiating the connection, so I guess its kinda like multiple explorer windows or something. Thanks P about the IP address check warning. I guess the safest and sanest thing to do with two comps is use the trade window...
Thx all

i have a question on cd keys for the same reason, do you need 2 classic ce keys and 2 lod or just 1 classic to install and 2 lod?
Ive heard that even if you have different LOD CD keys, bnet will still check ur D2 classic Keys. Someone correct me if Im wrong.
