i hope people aren't getting bored with all my requests for help....

now i have found a lovely bow for my amazon(level66) that i will use in the meantime untill i get my hands on a windforce :)
the problem is it doesnt have any leech on it and the 5% i have on my belt isnt enough so i want to put a pskull in it,now i know i can add sockets but that requires a stone of Jordan(iirc),so i thought about leveling another character up to the quest in act5 where i can add a socket then transfer bow and add socket etc etc

so my question is...what would the best(fastest) class/spec to get thru to act5 first or second quest pleas include with any replies ways to spec and alocate stat points and bear in mind character will be deleted once objective achieved,so dont need to worry about end game specs/stats?


FYI my amazon has just passed this quest and used reward in nightmare,so would realy like to get bow sorted before baal(NM) and then hell

Actually, the best way is to go into the trade channel on b.net and have someone rush your character and do the socket quest for you. Tell them you'll offer the Hellforge.

If you really must do it yourself, it's going to take a long time, but I like werewolves as far as characters who are powerful at low levels.

Start anew chars and simply request a rush on B-Net itself. Most people who gladly help you and rush you.

Now here's my question...why use a PSkull with 4% LL when you could use an AMN rune and get 7%? Or do you need the Mana leech as well?

Sorcs are quite quick at getting through normal i ahve found....especially when you get teleport and can start buzzing around to find the places you need to go (especially handy in act 2+3). But, as has been already stated rushing is the fastest way to go.

Maybe it's just me, but it sounds like you want to add multiple sockets to your bow, which by the way, is not possible. Only "unsocketed" items can be socketed by that quest. If you are looking for more leech (not sure if it's life, mana, or both), you might want to look at the other gear (gloves,helms). At clvl 66, you have a lot of options for helms that has dual leech like Tal's Mask, Vampiregaze, etc.

Edit: You also didn't mention if it's single player or bnet. If it's bnet, you could try out the suggestions given and if you're on USWest, I might be able to hook you up with some leech items.

just like to point out that i was "warned" about Bnet "people" that they are all cheat's and hackors and elite (or should that be 1337 ),and so far when asking for help i have been offered numerous help by others who dont even know me.

Well, I think most of us prefer to think of ourselves as "forum" ppl more. Do keep in mind that some of the vets here are no longer playing the game, they just hang out in the forum :lol: ... whew, glad I'm still a preppy freshman... lol.
