Fastest way to level?

My goal is to be the first to reach lvl 99 after the ladder reset (Yah, right.. :lol: ). To do that I 1. Have to dedicate alot of my own time 2. Need to know how to lvl up as fast as possible w/o getting rushed 3. Need to have a good character-build 4. Have to be a good trader (or well.. I guess I don't have to but it sure would help..) 5. Simply have to be a pro, which I surely am NOT!
Well, anyways, I don't meet the criteria so I guess I won't be the first to reach lvl 99 but it doesn't matter, it's good to set up big-time goals just for motivation, right? :scratch:
As for the criteria my biggest concern is the fast leveling since it usually takes me one whole day to reach lvl 40 and yet i read a post where people were telling about their miraculous getting up to lvl 41 in under 2 hours, wow. :worship:
And i'm sure that there are many others with the same problem so please, everyone post their ways and secret tricks how they level up the fastest and whatever you do post, don't redirect me to any of the guides at the strategy compendium.

Here is the strategy I use to get to level when I just want to get to hell.

Pit - Level 1 -5
Trstam - Level 5 - 15 (can go higher)
Arcane - Level 15 - 20 (can go higher here also)
Council - Level 20 - 24
Ancients - Level 25
Normal Baal - 25 - 45
----Rush to NM Ancients
NM Ancients - 46
NM Baal 46 - 75
----Rush to Hell Ancients
Hell Ancients - 76
Hell Baal 76+

This is just how I do it. Im sure there are other ways.

Hmm... Looks nice, I've never tried exping in different areas, usually kinda just go with the flow as i proceed through the acts (Normal, that is). But I still haven't gotten an answer to the main question; Fastest way to exp considering that there isn't anyone to rush (I mean, how could there if the ladder has just reset?). But thx for replying though. Now cmon everyone, post your ways. And please tell me why you've chosen that particular way to exp, show some facts, statistics and such.

I hit NM cows when I first hit lvl 34 with my wind druid and after doing like 2.5 cow runs I was about to hit lvl 39.

baal runs is the best way to do it

lvl99?? u mean the char lvl or take account of the quest. cuz a pure lvl 99 is almost impossible and impractical

Huh? What are you talking about? There are heaps of clvl 99's on and off ladder, i don't see what is so impossible about it.

Ok,
couple of advices
1) have fast-killer build... (no point in making summoner druid here - no offense to druids) Hammerdin or Bone necro come to mind (since both are good solo Hell players) not many monsters have Magic Immunity
2) mercenary is your friend (keep leveling him w/ you)
3) dont need to spend that much time for trading, just get some unexpensive usefull stuff
4) play on 8 players whenever possible (maybe not in hell)
5) DONT DIE!
6) have some really good friend build along w/ you and MF FOR you like lets say NM Meph can drop very nice stuff. So get som good friend to bould Pure Blizzard sorc to take down Meph repeatedly to find some good stuff.
7) YOu might also combine running WSK+pits to find good stuff for yourself, too both give nice XP too, although Minions of destruction are best.
