i came to know that countess present in tower has the highest rune drop and ahe drops upto IST

i started doing runz after abt 25 runz the best i got were pul and lum so should i continue doin these runz

will these runs help me get better runes?

It will definetely help you find better runes by putting 3 of them into the horadric cube (this works until ort you should go see the horadric cube recipes)...
With the cube you can have all the runes even the last one, zod :yep:

Yes you will get better runes. But running it will be hard to cube up to the really high runes. The council is a better choice for getting the really high ones (greater then IST).

There is a site that will tell you which monster has the greatest chance to drop an item.

thanks mate but has mf got any thing to do with runes coz i when i kill countess i switch my weapons so that my mf goes to 360 but that's possible while killin council coz of other minions

any suggestions?

mf does not affect rune quality.
it only affects the chance for an items to be magic/rare/set/unique

since there are no unique runes the chance doesnt change.

however if you kill her fairly fast with your mf stuff out then stick to it. you may just find a nice unique as well as the rune :)

EDIT: you definatly want mf for council. they have a good chance to drop some very nice uniques (e.g. Herald of Zak pally shield etc.)
