i am sick of public dueling

i was wondering if there is a dueling league or clan for useast non ladder

i am sick of dueling in public games, its no fun

i am sick of hearing "OMGLOLOWNEDNOOBLOL" everytime somebody gets killed, or "OMGHAXCHEATEROMG" everytime they die

i am sick of the cheapness, i was recently in a game where a trapper, zon and hammer pally were allied against everyone else, they teamed up on everyone, then when everyone was dead, the zon spammed multi shot at the town entrance, and the hammer pally stood at town entrance with the hammers so nobody could get their body, so people tried to go to cold plains to come up behind them to get their body, but the trapper and placed traps all over the coldplains wp

i am sick of cowards that stand at the entrance of town, and step out, shoot a few arrows or cold orb, or lay a few traps, then run back in town so they cant get hit

i am sick of idiots with teleport attacking naked people not allowing them to get their body

i am sick of people using potions, then saying its life steal, im sorry, but if u are near death you all of a sudden dont go to full health, you used a certian purple potion

i am sick of cowards running away when they are beat, then yelling NOOB when i tell them to stop running and come out of town

i am sick of the general idiot 10 year old (no offense to the non idiot 10yr olds) that run around claiming they know everything, calling everyone else a noob, and saying they are "godly this" or have "godly that" (hey, any idiot can use their dads credit card and go to ebay and become ruch in diablo, it took no skill and you are not godly or expirenced in diablo)

i am sick of know it alls who are just plain wrong, like the ones arguing with me about how light facets do add to their trap damage, or 400%mf is the ideal mf and you get the best drops, and having more mf is stupid, or that having 5 people in a game nets you the best xp, and if its a full game, less xp comes from monsters, or that no matter how much damage you do, they swear they do 10x more and you are a noob

i am sick of hearing idiots that tell me wearing lightning or fire ect absorb items is cheating, or that using WW with an assassin is cheating

well im done, i had to get that off my chest, somebody help me out here, as you can see i am generally sick with all public dueling games and the general idiot that is on bnet

look atthe top of the forum.. u see tat us west thread up for pvp? all thsoe people are sick of it too. so shaddup and join up :) its lotsa fun dueling with ppl who are good mannered and skilled (the true skill.. not the 10 year old one u were talkn bout =) ) sign up and have fun man

What's worse are pallies who make "melee only" games and then they use a bow to weaken people with poison attacks. :uhhuh:

Nonono. East is evil. He should come duel with us on west ladder. I bet he could make a cross-realm trade if he tried hard enough.




But seriously, check out the clan honor forum. Can't get much more balanced than that. Pub duels have their appeal though. Where else are you gonna duel 5 people at once using ANY gear you want?

If anyone is trying to change from East to West I happen to have gotten lucky and got a Anulus on West and really only play on East so I would take any East anulus for this low West anulus. I have been on these forums 4 a long time and will throw in a nice small charm on West that you can hold till after you give me the East anulus. I dont know how else to do it other than this?

Come play HC. Are there idiots in HC... yes... but not nearly as many. All (most) the idiots get frustrated and quit.

i quite HC after the 3rd time my barb got killed in a cheap way!

Death #1: Leaped into the summoner to follow friend; didn't noticed him leave due to low res, got my *** beat.

Death #2: lvl 56: died by a bowazon on bloody foothills.

Death #3: lvl 60-70: died due to noob using lag hack (in .09, i don't use mh), i hit alt + f4 but when i came back i was dead anyway.

Death #4: Died to hell Diablo during rush.

After my friend's lvl 98 barb got pk'd with only 40 mil xp to 99, i just gave up, i figured there was no point to it. After all, the game is for fun, so i can have fun on Softcore without the fear of losing all of my items with a single death.

Would that make you leave HC?

Well, Badlikeme, it sounds like your making only melee people for hc. Its a lot easier to just make sorcs or zons until you can get decent items for the melee characters. And with a sorc or zon, you can always sit back and shoot your little projectiles and watch the melee fighters die. :clap:

I agree with just about everything you said except for gold stealing, sometimes potions. As far as gold goes either gamble it off beforehand or im gonna pick it up when the person dies, its a small reward for me killing the person, simple as that. About pots, I duel only hc so my natural instinct is to juve right as my life gets low, and just the other day I was dueling on sc with a friends s/s and I would keep accidently potting. Also when I'd have to 1v2 or even 1v3 in extreme cases vs people I would use pots because like you said, if you die, chances are your gonna get naked killed. So do everything possible to not die.

Yeah, all my HC chars were barbs, i made them barbs because i was best at making barbs, but it is always fun to sit back and watch all the melee peopel die... in .09 i was afraid of light enchants mostly (is that what people were afraid of then? i can't even remember)
