I was wondering if anyone knew how to calculate bow speed with an assassin. I need to know the Ias breakpoints so that I can know if I have enough or too much IAS. If you have a link that charts the assassin bow speed that would be nice. As well, I am looking for a chart that shows the assassin FHR breakpoints. If anyone can link, or show me, these two breakpoint table it would be much appreciated.

The Assassin FAQ thread (http://www.rpgforums.net/showthread.php?t=128208&page=1)(second FAQ) has instructions on how to calculate your speed with a Bow. The calculator (http://stats.diabloii.net/calcs/wspeed.shtml) has the base frame of Bows for Assassins(15 frames), so don't worry.

Ok thanks, I was basically looking for a calculator like that. I also want to make sure I understand this correctly:

Here is the table for my bow, it has a WSM of 0, but since the bow has a shael in it I modified the WSM to -20. Is this correct?

Weapon Speed Breaks -
Base:15 WSM:-20

IAS EIAS Frames
0 20 13
5 24 12
16 34 11
34 46 10
63 61 9

My main question is: In order to reach the 9 frames breakpoint do I need either 63 IAS (from gear) or 61 EIAS (from BoS)? To ask this another way: If I had a BoS that added 61% to attack speed would it be pointless to have IAS with my gear, or if I had 63% IAS from gear would it be pointless to use BoS (for its attack speed bonus)?

Do IAS and EIAS add together to increase attack speed, or are they seperate modifiers where it is eitehr on or the other?

Finally: I am still trying to find a table with the assassin FHR break points, do you know of one?

Thanks.

IAS on weapon does not directly minus from the WSM, unless you're using attacks like WW and Fury(not sure on Fury, though). For Normal Attack(or any Zon attack), IAS on weapon is treated the same as IAS on armor(they are added together). So, you would still have a WSM of 0. To save you the trouble(since you actually made the effort to try out calculating your speed yourself, unlike some others :p ), the table is:

Weapon Speed Breaks -
Base:15 WSM:0

IAS EIAS Frames
0 0 15
9 8 14
18 15 13
30 24 12
48 34 11
75 46 10
125 61 9

So, you would need either 61% (E)IAS from BoS, or 125% IAS on your gear(again, whether it is on weapon or armor does not matter in this case).

If you want a combination of, let's say: slvl 9 BoS (44% EIAS), you would directly minus the WSM by the BoS bonus(so WSM would be -44), producing a table of:

Weapon Speed Breaks -
Base:15 WSM:-44

IAS EIAS Frames
0 44 11
3 46 10
20 61 9

So, slvl 9 BoS + 20% IAS(which you already have from the Shael) would put you at the 9 frame cap.

FHR Breaks: http://strategy.diabloii.net/news.php?id=538 (there's a quicklink near the top of the Misc/Items section)

PS. EIAS (IAS from BoS/Fanatiscm) and IAS (from gear) are calculated seperately, so don't add them together.

Do charge up skills work with bows?

They don't work with ranged weapons of any kind(includes thrown javelins, etc.), unfortunately. :/

That kind sucks. PS with a Buriza would put FA Zons to shame!

Wow thanks man. Just to make sure:

I have lvl 30 BoS (+56% EIAS), so my WSM would become -56?

The chart would be like this:

Weapon Speed Breaks
- Base:15 WSM:-56
IAS EIAS Frames
0 56 10
6 61 9

So I would only need 6% IAS to hit the 9 frame breakpoint? Does this mean that I can get rid of the shael in my bow or my highlords wrath? If so that is pretty sweet. Thanks again, this really helps me out.

You need slvl 31 BoS to get +56% EIAS. Yes, your WSM would be -56, and you would only need 6% IAS to reach the 9 frame cap.
