chaos help plz

Hello,

It has taken me forever to finally obtain the runes I need for a chaos claw. I finally have them and would like advise on the exact stats on the claw which would be best used to build the rune word in.

I am sure this will be my only shot at the claw. So, I am asking for experienced help in choosing the claw with which to socket. If you were to make a chaos claw, what would be the ideal claw to make it out of?

look for a suwayyah or scissors suwayyah, try to get one with +skill on it, it would be helpful to find one with a skill that you plan to use, but wont want to waste points on the pre req

i recently made one that was a suwayyah that had +2 to wake of fire and +1 to fade

Well the best claw would be a 15% superior suwayyah with +3 weapon block , +3 LS and +3 WoF. That way you don't need any points in the traps tree , have some more weapon block (which means less points needed) , and you do alittle more dmg.

Suwayyah's are the best claws for Chaos to begin with. The lowest req while having the highest dmg possible for a Chaos claw (warfists can't get 3 sockets).

Probably not as much as you might think.

Items like these are usually gambled/shopped for, so I wouldn't imagine that they have nearly as high of a trade value as a good unique drop.

do not use a superior claw to make a chaos or fury claw. A bug from 1.09 carried over, in which it costs an insane amount to repair the claw. I have seen a few chaos claws, through myself or my friends. If the claw is superior, it costs in excess of 1 million to repair the claw. If the claw is non superior, then it costs under 60k to repair it from 0 dur.

my suggestion to you is to do a few hell baal runs, and make the claw out of a suwayyah or scissors suwayyah with +df, or weap block, to save you some points later on for other things.

For a traditional 'Venom' WWsin, that's almost all wrong. :( WoF and WB aren't needed on the claw, and you'll want more in the Traps tree to get Blade Fury and Blade Shield (since both carry your Venom damage). You'd want a +3 Venom claw (other mods are just gravy).

DON'T use a Superior claw. My +3 Venom Chaos cost me $2.1 Million to repair from broken, and it wasn't even Superior...

Something is missing here or either you don't know much about ww/hybrid sins. If you don't put any pts in the traps tree, what's the point of looking for a near impossible to find claw with 3 x +3 mods? And even the two traps skills you mention are independent of each other.

Instead of calling it the best claw, it's rather the worst claw.

Best is, +3 DF, +3 CB, and +LS.

If you are a PVP shadow assasin, then look to the claw that has + Venom, + Dflight, and +Bladeshield. Bladeshield and Dflight so you don't have to spend points in the tree for that and spend points in the shadow tree.

Claws with +3 to venom w/ bladeshield or Dflight are fairly expensive. I would say and ist+, maybe you can get it for a um if your lucky. I have been searching for these claws for a while and haven't found one. Good luck in your searches.
