A little help with my Bone Necro!!

Hi all..

I am recently making a new necro hopefully a a good bone necro dueler... So far his lvl 43 with skill points in the bone section and no stat oints added.

I am wondering if i can create a base strength high block + life necro!?!? Does that mean i have to buy or create a Breast plate enigma? If so is it worth doing a base Str Necro?

Another things is that i added to skill points in bone prision! I was wondering about the marrow walk bug? Should i keep it 0 and use marrow walks for the charge skill sinc eit is lvl 32 or should i max it like the guide in the Strategy comp says cause maybe my skills will go higher then 32... Bah so confusing :scratch:

I hope that makes sense if not i will try to lighen things up when i am more awake... thanks!!

Hey bro :thumbsup: I guess it depends where you want to duel with it, if its for pubbies etc then use the marrowwalk bug, this gives you the huge bonus and u still have 20 points to use elsewhere. This means a rebuild though as you've put points in already :cheesy:

Ok,

Marrows add about 1K+ Dmg to your bone skills, though you lose the chance to use bone prison. So you get the good and you get the bad. For PvM, yeah that's good, for pubbies you need them. For CH, they are no-no's. So its up to you.

Lowest strength possible is good. You want teleport for pubbies. Breat plate is the way to go. If you are good, you shouldn't get hit.

I have come to earn through some dueling, though I don't have a boner, cast rate is key for them, I feel. Finding a way to hit 125% is key to me now.

With Enigma, you have limited choices in gear to reach that:

Gloves

Trangs Gloves or Magefist (Regen can be a good thing)

Belt

Arachnids

Wand

Wizspike, Suicide Branch, or HotO

Helm

+2 Nec // 20% Cast helm or .08 Valk Wing (Both are pricey, sadly)

Shield

Lidless :( Bad stuff for a necro... Homun is so godly.

Rings

10% Cast // Mana Rings

Amulet

If on East, Storm Circlet. It is a dupe, but +2 Nec// 20% Cast and other uber mods. You need it, unless you are doing private league.


Someday I'll make a boner with this setup:

Homunculus
HotO Flail
Trangs Gloves
Arachs
Marrows
Storm Circlet Ammy
Best Cast ring I can find

Won't be very res, but the plan is to not get hit. I dueled someone with my Blizz sorc with close to that setup and he just danced around me and smote me to heck and back. :cheesy: My blizz sorc is very powerful too. I own most pubbies with it.


So to recap:

If Pubbies is your place, rebuild for marrows, and go for BP Enigma.

Yes, I have a high-block High life BoneNecro with only 1 point in Str, and that was me being stupid and not waiting an extra lvl for the Enigma +str to lvl Mod(couldnt wait to use marrows).

I use BP Enigma, have 73% block w/ Homun, 1200 life w/o BO, 1900 with BO, 5K spear dmg/5K+ spirit, and exactly 125% FCR, level 81.

Ok thanks... but with the marrow bug be affected by addtional skills from items? Lets say all my skills are lvl 40 will the marrow bug keep the prision to lvl 32 or will it increase to lvl 40 as well?? (if that makes any sense)

Ok well i am on west ladder so i will be using maras instead... i dunno if i can reach that faster cast lvl but i will try my hardest right now i am concentrating on getting a breast plate enigma... i also considered mage plate but is that too hight?!?!

The FCR is something to shoot for. It is the peak, in my books, of boners.

Synergies = Are not affected by + skills. The only thing that counts are skill points placed into that skill. So if you bone spirit is slvl17, but after + Skills lis like 27, your other bone skills will only get lvl17 synergy still.

The mad, crazy thing about marrows is that it gives a lvl 33 synergy where as only a lvl 20 synergy can be obtained using skill points. That's what makes the marrows so good. It it like you dumped 33 skill points into BP, which isn't possible.

Ok well thanks that cleared stuff about the necro bug nicely hehe ok i think i got my ideal build now just to obtain such a build!!!
