Me and a couple friends have decided to make a fellowship of the ring.
We are putting a party of 8 together based on characters from LOTR.
The characters are:

Gimli (2 Hand Axe barb)*
Aragorn (2 Hand Sword Pally)
Legolas (Bow Zon)*
Gandalf (Sorc -skill tree T.B.D.)
Boromir (s/s pally)

* Characters already taken

The other 3 are open for input. Remember were trying to make this fairly tight with the movie and its not about over powered characters.

Sign up in this post if your interested and add inout here aswell. Once we get this rolling we'll setup a time when everyone can meet on a regular basis.

P.S. This is USEast scnl

not to but in since I don't play on your realm...but since this isn't about being overpowered...

I'd suggest making Gandalf an elemental/summoner druid
the ravens could take the place of the friendly eagles...he would have the power of defense and elemental absorb to stand in the fire of the balrogs...and he wouldn't kill much (somewhat like Gandalf ;)

he'd need a staff and a sword on the weapon switch

Just to kinda add to Ter's post, seeings as how I'd love to do this, but would never be on to play with you guys:

For the 3 customs, you could take other chars from the books/movies.

Faramir (rangerdin w/ sword switch)
Eomyr (Throwadin w/sword switch)

Just some ideas for ya's :)

Really though...any way you can make the hobbits the other 3 characters?

Or maybe a sorc to be the crazy elf chick in the woods :)

I like ter's idea about the summoner druid. And the idea of the crazy sorceres. Who ever signs up gets the ultimate decision for the character. Im just guiding here.

If the emphasis is on the themed build, without worrying too much about power here, you could surely have Frodo as a golemmancer...

I'd like to play Aragorn unless one of the 3 customs interest me more... *jonskillz2 on USeast but i don't play much right now until something interesting ( like this ) starts. :)

I might suggest dividing this fellowship into seperate groups, and if I have a chance of joining, I could play as Elrond. Two handed sword Pally.

Ooooooo Interesting :P

Some ideas ^^

1. How bout having Sauron as a Black armor wearing axe barb (IK armor comes to mind).

2. Tom Bombadil - Singing barb? ^^ Thatd be funny

3. Galadriel - Light sorc (nova/lightning maybe) :P

4. Gollum - SS Druid? Or even a Trang Necro. Need some sort of transformation happening yknow :P

Maybe once I finish my current project, I'll join up ^^
