View Full Version : Make Chain of Honor or save runes for Enigma?

I am use upgraded +34 res viper skin and enough rune for coh, should I save runes for enigma or make coh?

There are many opinion in this forum suggest coh is best for ama, but engima seems much more "famous".

BTW, my zon is a lvl 90 LF/cs/ strafe hybrid, already have a teleport amulet for rushing use.

If your resists are already maxed you could go for the enigma if you really want it.

I think Enigma is just overrated, CoH is much 'cooler', as is Stone. Check out what mods you really need and decide what you want then, with the added resistance from CoH you might be able to free a lot of equipment for other stuff (such as more damage).

Thank for the advice, but the defence 70ed seems not enough, only the +70 resistance and + 2 skill really catch me. Stone, too denfensive for my taste, no +skills, maybe I make one for my merc when I really rich

Unless you're playing a spearazon, you can totally forget about defense in my opinion. Since there are no skills to boost your defense it won't be top-notch anyway. Besides, skills like dodge, avoid and evade provide a much better protection especially when using a shield.

You didn't say what kind of Amazon you have now, so it's a little hard to give advice on what you can use best. If you intend to play PvP, Enigma is very popular indeed, from what I've heard, but the low cast rate of amazons could bother you.

*edit: either I'm blind or you just editted your post :P

CS/LF/Strafe... I still think CoH would be best for this... but then again, I'm an Enigma-hater.

Defense is not important on an Amazon IMO. One of my strafe-zons uses "Lionheart" Breast plate (like 70 def or so) and she doesnt get hit very often.

Enigma, 40% faster run/walk rocks, I don't care about +1 teleport.

If this is for PvM you don't need either, and can easily stick with the Viperskin, or go with a Tal's Armor for MF...

Theres no point in zons having high defense
They dont havea defense Boosting skill like shout,iron skin,holy shield, defiance
Defence is wasted on a zon
Instaed, u have Great dodging skills
I'd go with Tals for Mf(or Skullders if u dont need res)
Coh if you really have TERRIBLE res
Enigma for r/w, skills, +1 teleport =p
If you dont like either, dont buy either keep ur Up'ed Skin, and save up^_^

Extra damage to demons and undead also help a lot to your Strafe skill. i agree that stone is more a "merc armor" , specially when made in a ethereal elite armor.
