Assuming I'm just weird like that and want to wear Aldur's full set, what build (skillpoints and maybe stat points) would do best for it?

First I tried a summoner that could shapeshift too, but he had big problems with physical immunes by the time he got to act 4 hell.

Ok is this not the 20th time in the last 2 weeks that someone asked about the best build for this set?

I shall answer now as I always have....IMO a meleementalist is the best build for this set. Using geddon and a strong bear as main sources of damage backup by you clubbing things.

meleementalist being? shapeshifter elementalist? and by strong bear you mean shapeshifting into a bear?

Yes, which is really freaking stupid because you can't cast elemental spells as a bear/wolf.

Just make what you want to dude. I am going to make a fire/summoner with Aldur's for the hell of it.

Actually you can cast the elemental spell "Armageddon" as a bear or a wolf

A popular build might be a ShockGeddonBear w/ maybe maul or something, but yea you can cast geddon in bear form

First of ****ing all NO....and yes you can cast geddon and cane in form

A meleementalist is a druid that remains in human form and wacks things with a weapon in human form uses geddon and a high level grizz summon to kill things....so if you do not know the answer next time keep you ****ing stupid mouth shut  :howdy:

So I should use geddon, not cane, and for my grizzly should that be the only summon? (no ravens, vine, or spirit?) And should I boost the grizzly with points in the wolves or just pure grizzly?

Also how should I boost the skill of choice (geddon or cane) with synergies? What's the best way, points in the skill itself or points in the synergies?

If its pvm
i would go something like
20 Heart of wolv
20 Grizzly
20 Fissue
Rest into Fissures Synergies..///Spirit wolves

It depends on what you like....my huntermentalist uses volcano, my meleementalist used geddon...fun watching the geddon falling on the baddies while I wacked away. Might merc is also very good to have around....use HoW of you have the gear and charms to reach at least 1.5k life if not Oak might be a better selection.

Actually Beowulf,
I didnt think you could cast hurricane in wolf/bear form, I thought you could cast Hurricane and THEN shapeshift into a wolf or bear? Can you clarify this for me?

Don't know about hurricane but I know armageddon is fully castable while you are shapeshifted.

sorry my bad about the wind spell was thining about what they where talking about during the beta for the patch when I read that they thought about having cane and geddon.....you can shift into form after though since cane with the proper synergies can last for a pretty long time not like in 1.09

Sorry about my inaccurate post. I was just repeating what I had read elsewhere.

I think I'm going to make a full wind druid with spirit, ravens, and a vine. At least to try, anyway. If that doesn't see me through I'll try the same thing with fire skills.

Which spirit and vine should I use, or should I drop one or more of the summons to put more points into my remaining skills?
