Head hunters mean no block at all. Its up to you, but i like my 75% block plus D/E/A chance

A 3 socketed headhunters with high resist mods and 3 pdiamonds (or if you are rich 3 um runes for 9% more total res than pdiamonds) would give you a ton of res (something like +90 to most resistances). This can free up a lot of equipment options for other stuff besides resistances.

If you use the 50 stat points you'll save by using Head hunters instead of SS and add it to dex, at level 75 when you equip it (assuming you have max block on SS), you'll still have 62% chance to block with HHG.

Just thought I'd point that out since you'd still have decent blocking.

That would depend on your gear. With +20 strength from Tgods and +`20 from Titans, it is not that difficult to get to the 130 you need for a -req socketed SS. You have to pump it to 110 to put your Tgods anyway, and with tgods you get it to 130. So the "stat save" is not that high (unless you dont want to wear Tgods for some reason), you will have already near the stats you need to wear the SS. (if heled, of course. You will save around 30 stats if you use a HH instead of Non heled SS.).

Plus: the HH block is 45%. when you increase lvl, the Block drops. A lot..
With lvl 80, you will need around dex 275. For stormshield, you will need 195. thats 80 points saved... for lvl 99 the difference is more than 100 points saved for 75% block. Not counting the PDR..

Imo HH is the best NON BLOCKING shield. Now it is up to you if you want your shield for blocking or for resists. If you dont want to go the 75% block route, then chose the HH.

I think we understood. My opinion, stated in my first post, is that HH means no block. I personally found that surviving matters a lot, becouse the death penalty. 75% block rocks, specially for javazons with D/E/A. having lit facets would rock, by sure, but i dont find i need MORE killing speed with my javazon. but it is up to you. Have you tested with griphon eye faceted? think it is enough.

If you really want to put a ton of facets, i would go with an upgraded mossers shield with 2 facets. Good resists, nice block, and nearly as much damage as HH.
