Max Dmg Jewelz at Low Lvls

I am looking for a 4 soc Ghost Armor, it has a 38 str requirement and a clvl req of 20. Since there is a clvl req of 18 on the plain +15max jewel, then that would seem the most ideal to use. Should I look for a 4 soc Ghost Armor in late NM somewhere? Can I socket a white Ghost Armor for the 4 sockets using the cube somehow. or must I use my larzuk quest for that?

Where is the best place to find more plain +15max damage jewelz?

I just think it would be sweet on many character builds to have +90 max damage at lvl 20. (45 on 3 soc mask, 60 in 4 soc Ghost Armor)

You can use the cube recipe but it requires a Stone of Jordan to get sockets in it. I can't recall the exact recipe but it should be on the cube recipe page, but you're probably better off socketing at Larzuk since SoJ's aren't really common.

45 + 60 = 105 :P

The best place to find +15 max jewels would be late normal I think. Going higher (nm and up) would make other mods possible too and thus lowering your chances of getting a +15 max. On the other hand, good other jewels could get you a lot of 15 max jewels in the trade channel. I wouldn't 'hunt' for 15 max jewels myself, I'd just trade them if I needed them. The price of them is very low anyway.

just go find a plain ghost armr and have larzuk socket it. it will get the 4 socs. the 15 max jewels u can get by trading or finding them. i think there is also a formula the rerolls the mods of a certain item but i cant find it or there isnt one. well good luck and hf playin.

The lowest level requirement for 4 socket armour is Gothic Plate which is level 1 strength 70.

I want my characters to use this asap, so my zon lets say will have to spend alot on strength early to wear the Gothic Plate by L18.

I guess I am looking for the lighest 4 socket exceptional.

I don't understand why you can't get this....

GOTHIC PLATE STR 70 IS THE LIGHTEST 4 SOCKET ARMOR PERIOD.

Exceptional armor: lightest 4 socket armor is Embossed Plate Req Str 125, Req Level 25.
Elite armor: lightest 4 socket armor is Dusk Shroud Req Str 77, Req Level 49.

There are some pretty nice low level rare -req jewels out there. A low max or ED -req jewel with another mod or two shouldn't cost much more than a 15max jewel. Put that in the Gothic and use strength charms to make up the rest.

What about using a 3 socket helm instead of 4 socket armor? Ya you would be missing one jewel but its alot easier to find and you can get one with a 23 req str.

The clvl req would increase on a jewel with 2 mods (+max and -req)?

I already have a 3 soc +45max mask, available at lvl 18. I just wanted to make an armor too, for a total of +105 max, as close to lvl 18 and similar str req. But I see now that low lvl/str armors will have 2-3 sockets max. Maybe I should just make a +45 Breast plate(3 socket) and let that be that.

I believe the clvl does go up with 2 mods. I looked at arreat and didn't see a negative requirments jewel listed. I would think there would be one or maybe I just didn't see it. I would look to put an ias jewel in with it. Something like 2 max damage jewels and a ias jewel. Not sure of the clvl needed for the ias ones but if you can get extra speed in there you might kill faster then if you had 3 max damage ones. I myself lean more towards more damage then speed but speed is needed as well.

At lvl 18 you pick up a 3 sockes Hunter bow (the one below Razor) or sum sh*t, drop 3 perf Saphires in there and that bow iz pretty zippy. Once in NM somewhere you pick a Kuko and Duriels shell/shaftstop anyway. This is just for those ALWAYS slow lvls in Normal before you get to Baal. And yea IAS jewels have a higher char lvl req.

Just remembered, this is another example. A 12%ED 8 cold res -req jewel, level 14. I put in a Bonehew for my merc.

when you are lvl 33, kuko kicks as*. Of course no one wants one if they qualify for a Goldstrike Arch or better. Its a great lower lvl bow. I am just trying to make lower lvls eazy.

with enough MAX dmg jewelz you could "punch" through the lower lvls. lol
