Hi ive thougt of something because i always make bad character's i hoped some good amazon player could help me make a good amazon (bowazon) there can kill uber diablo an help other character's an stuff (im on ladder) and if u could help me with the equipment and please dont say look in the files there is one there (cause i looked an i cant find any)

Now where's the fun in that? so you made some bad characters, big deal, we've all made some really crappy characters at one point. what you should do is try researching and planning out characters before you start them, like using chippydip's skill planner. you can also check these forums for whatever cookie-cutter mold that piques your interest. as for equiptment, i can't really help ya there except advise you to make a pit runner (not that hard) and have some patience. as you can see i'm not much of a fan of hand-outs.

fireman - in my experience, if you want a char to spank DC nothing beats a hammerdin - my hdin splatters DC very very quickly - my lvl 89 zon i wouldn't even try to DC with. I could be putting her down but i don't think that she'd do anywhere near as well.

Again for helping other chars and stuff - i'd suggest a sorc of some kind - main so u can mf meph for yourself, and tele rush friends that need it.

If you really want to make a good zon - then i have to say that there are guides in this forum that produce good bowazons - both for mf'ing or for leveling/helping (it's just a change of equipment that decides which you are suited for).

These guides also suggest what equipment will be best for that particular build.

Read a few of the stickied guides in each of the character class forums and make the one that you like the sound of, but for a poor player nothing beats making an mf blizz sorc to farm meph for some useful items which you can then use in conjunction with the guides to make an effective char.

My Strafe-a-zon is doing quite well for a Zon build. You need to have a good bow and IAS items tho.

I suggest guilding a good MF char to support your future builds. A sorc is good, but needs gear too. I made a skellymancer to find MF sorc gear, then made a sorc, which found items for my Zon and other characters.

A skellymancer is a great first char since he can play virtually naked in hell.

shrug, i wasn't responding to the DC part of his post. I have no exp against DC with a zon, so i didn't say anything about that, lest i make myself look the total fool. cheers

my point, about the point you missed was:

he is asking for help regarding information, such as guides etc to help him make a better character - and u replied "what you should do is try researching and planning out characters before you start them" which by asking for some guides/info he already realises that is what he needs to do :p

you also interpreted "and if u could help me with the equipment and please dont say look in the files there is one there (cause i looked an i cant find any)" to mean he is asking for free items, when i understood this to mean he wants help decided what items to wear.

but nvm :D as i said, i could be wrong - as is often the case :o

NEWAY, 4 the most part, don't use a zon for the dclone. But if you are going to then you are looking for Prevent Monster Heal, Fire and Lightning Res and absorb, high LIFE, and plenty of patience.

Or make a Hammerdin. A really good BOTD barb would do well too.

Just in case you missed my answer...

Well now you have heard of a bowazon killing uber Diablo. I Have killed him 4 times. Once with an upped buriza using guided / multi zon & 3 times with my current WF strafe zon. Can do now in under 3 minutes easy.

gear (for Dclone only)

Gore riders (crushing blow is a must, used war travelers last night for 2 minutes & only got down about 1/3 of his hit points, was taking too long).

ravenfrost
natures peace - prevent monster heal
mara's amulet (could use rising sun for fire absorb but really not needed)
thundergods vigor - absorb lightening (still hurts but not that much. just don't stand in the stream too long)
tals armor & mask (each socketed with 15% ias jewel)
laying of hands
Wind Force socketed with Shael

this is only 9/3 strafe with this set up but you will be using guided anyway so 90 ias is perfect.

merc - vapires gaze, reapers toll, upped duriels shell.

probably would be better to put some crushing blow on him but this is my normal quest merc set up & was too lasy to get other gear from mule. he dies pretty quick but who really cares.

also have 1 passive gc & a lot of resist charms. my resists are around 75 fire, 85 light, 75 cold & 35 or so poison.

you will need a few pots though. you can not leech very well off him if at all. I think I used 4 rejuvs and maybe 5 or 6 super lifes.

like i said, this is my uber d set up. normally i wear andarials helm with 15% ias jewel, goldwrap, war travelers, dwarf star, ravenfrost, maras, tals armor, laying of hands and keep a dual shaeled witchwild string on switch. this 120% ias gives 9/2 strafe with wind force and 8/2 with witchwild string.

THIS SET UP ROCKS. (If, while questing, I run into a bunch of those lightening ghost things in worldstone keep, I go back & slap on the thundergods & tals mask & then i can pretty much stand in the middle of them all & not get hurt but i lose 1 ias breakpoint that way)

by the way, my life stinks. Usually 620 - 740 depending on set up. doesnt really matter as my dex is so high that i kill everything pretty quickly.

Do not bother trying uber D without similar gear and definately not without some crushing blow, tgods & natures peace. Will be a waste of time.

Yea. I've heard that before but you definately can on Ladder at least.

The question is, however, if upgrading buri is worth the huge strength that could otherwise been spend on dexterity (you'd probably get about equal damage after that anyway).

Calculations have been done (somewhere on these forums, probably way back) that proved that the damage you do with the elite buriza WILL be greater than the damage you would do with the exceptional buriza and those pts put into dex.

The few times I've met dclone I've just used my zealot (and he doesn't need a BotD to kill him, crushing blow is the way to go). Actually i find dclone easier to kill than Baal because he just stays put when you tank him. So i just position myself on the opposite side of dclone relative to my merc and start hitting him.

how do all of yall fınd dclone ıve seen hım once and there were a bunch of guys who were frıends and they kept kıllıng me so that ı couldnt even get near hım sıgh and yall have seen hım wat 4-6 tımes? anyway ı cant really help u ı could ıf ıt was 1.09 but 1.10 changed all my characters from ably to kıll there own lvl ok- to- not ABLE TO KILL -10 levels o well.

Fastest anti DC char would be either a "godly" hammerdin with 12K or more, or simply a frenzy barb with high CB. Mine used dual Kingslayer (2*33% CB, Prevent monster heal, 2*50% OW, -25%target defense, 20%ar bonus, all very good mods vs DC) , arreats, raven+angelic combo, draculs Gores and Lionheart. Good chance to hit, easy leeching (draculs), high enough CB (33+15=48% for every weapon, and frenzy hits a LOT). If I would make him now, Lionheart would be switched with Duress for more cb+ow fun ;)

I'm no expert, but it goes something like:

1) Find out which server is 'hot' or likely to be hot in the near future (ie the server where there has been sold most SoJs since the last World Event on that server). There is a web site for at least Europe (don't have the url here).

2) Make a game on hell difficulty on that server. This can be tedious since it is random what server you end up on when you make a game.

3) Get your char stuck in the graffic somewhere so that you can leave the computer and still have the game active. I do it at one of the doors at Outer Closter.

4) Wait till Dclone spawns. This can easily take several hours, maybe even days. You will see if there is sold any SoJs on the server (check the message log). It will say "Diablo walks the Earth" when Dclone is there.

5) Go to Den of Evil and Dclone will be spawned there instead of Corpsefire (I think that's his name).
