the next avenger question - dream equipment :)

can someone post dream equipment for an avenger in light of the recent discoveries related to what increases vengeance damage (+min/+max damage etc)

i've got my avenger to act 3 hell at level 78 and he hasn't had his equipment tweaked - he's using primarly rares. i'm ready to start really setting him up with some nice gear now for a boost. give me your dream choices and i'll consider them and make it my mission to go out and find them. please stick to uniques, sets and runewords as it isn't that easy to find the right combination of mods on a rare and i find it much harder also. i have an idea of what that equipment is but to not influence you, i'll let you post your ideal setup. the biggest argument seems to be on the best weapon and i can't made up my mind on that either.

i'm really struggling in hell (i guess i'm supposed to be) but some better equipment would help a lot. i've held back on using all my stat points so that i can make this a perfect paladin once i know exactly what equipment he'll be using.

well since i got all the avenger talk going (and then never got around to actually making him) i guess ill try to give my 2 cents.

actually, i have no idea what the idea Avenger equipment, but there are some things we must ask you b4 we could accurately answer.

- what is your skill point distrbution?

some avenger's max vengeance, some max resist auras, some are inbetween, some have a point in redemption for mana, some have holy shield... which brings me to

- does your avenger use a shield?

dont laugh, i was going to make a shield avenger, still may, untwinked.

- what is your biggest problem?

slow killing speed? low damage? low health? low mana? slow mana regen? low resists? low defense? low hit recovery?

hopefully after getting some of these answers, some1 can help you with equipment suggestions :)

Pvm or pvp?
Pvm i would say........
Probably decked out sockets with all facets? that might be nice. Maybe ormus robes? Famine zerker.....or botd zerker is fine probably...
Pvp would be exactly the same as zealot setups pretty much...

20 resist cold

20 resist fire

20 conviction

18 vengeance

1 holy shield.



That's about it and yes, I'm pvm and I already use a shield (currently a good rare but HoZ would be better). My biggest problem is killing speed, my weapon is so lame I won't mention it but I have valuable items I can trade to get really good stuff now that I've given up on playing all the way through using only items I find.

does orums' robes increase vengeance damage? it seems like an ideal armor if that is the case. is anything better and if so, why?
