I was wondering if it would be easier to get into wolf form, hit once with rabies, then stay in wolf form to use fireclaw. I haven't tried dueling yet so I really have no idea if it would be better, but I was just wondering. If it isn't, how do I spare enough time to shift from wolf to bear during a duel? Thanks for you input.

Anyone? I'm really having a hard time dueling cuz I'm not sure when to shift and how to get away so I can shift
hmmmm there is a guide i havent read it ... but i would assume bite ... rune ... deshift .... shift ... attack. However i dont think there would be that much of a difference if you just bite then attack w/ a fast weapon on the wolf. Granted you will be attacking one frame slower ... however you will be gettin higher ar .. its kind of a trade off. Try wolf mode and see how you like it ... I think the bite then deshift reshift into bear is going more towards vs. casters ... i could be wrong though...

I prefer stayin in wolf form because i tend to hit a lot faster thus do more damage... but if you need the life and defence bonus.. the bear is your choice.
Does any1 know what helm is better for a flaming rabies cerebus or jalas? Jalas would help out my fire claw too but it lacks the attack rating, life leech and open wounds... input would be greatly appreciated

=/
it says in the guide and in the thread like 100 times.
rabies then fireclaws. if you see a good opportunity to shift in a bear, you do so. if not, you are not FORCED to, nor HAVE to. but shifting into a bear have greater advantages. faster fireclaws attack, more defense, more life.
edit: use jalas if you feel you lack resists, if not, go for cerebus, more ar, and open wounds is real nice to have.
