Hm, should I rebuild my zon? :)

Hello everyone,

Well, before I start I have to say that this a strafe/FA build lvl 87 that can kill pretty fast everything (except baal actually). I mean, she can solo CS in 8ppl game, she can even handle those pesky glooms but hell, she can be improved. The question is: is it worth taking the time to rebuild her?

Skills and equipment are okay for me, no problem here. However, I totally (and I mean totally) messed up her strength. I totally overlooked the 18 str from anni plus due to (unforseen) changes in equipment she got 29 str from andy visage, 25 str from lionheart and 10 str from wts... you can see where this goes: she has 221 str right now:) Oouch!

Final stats: 221 str, 313 dex (with whisp, I sometimes replace it with raven), almost 800 life and base mana.

So... is it worth rebuilding her? Keep in mind that for a 'perfect' rebuild I have to wait til lvl 83 for those 29 str from andy visage which between lvls 73 and 83 should be replaced somehow (I dont even know how).

Any view on this very much appreciated!

PS. On a side note, it takes a lot of time for me to kill bhaal with FA/strafe... anyone manages to do it fast? How? My ama uses: wf/andy visage (15%ias)/highlords/lionheart/wts/loh/ 8/6dual leech nice res rings/whisp/upgr.goldwrap and demon limb on switch...

I would ask myself how long this re-build would take. If you have friends and 2 days time on the weekend, you can get rushed pretty easily to lv 70-75...maybe even higher. In which case I'd do it.

If you have to play her all the way in pubbies and it will take you 3 weeks to do so....nah.

But just posting the question tells me, that you really want to rebuild...admit it ;)

Yeah:) I'm not a perfectionist but I think right now I messed up big time:) And I dont feel at ease with it...

One other reason would be: could she kill bhaal decently fast and safe if I investe another 87 points in dex (that would bring her to exactly 400)? Or maybe split between dex and vita...

Concerning the time it would take... I guess between 1 and 2 weeks. Maybe 1 week since now I have all equip ready. I have friends but I dont like to ask them to spend time for my stupid mistakes:)

To be perfectly honest, I have no idea if you could kill better. I mean this guy has 500 K Hitpoints, so for Starters, Goreriders would help you, and your merc should maybe wear something like Tals mask, Hone Sudan Shael Shael Amn and a Duress armour..anything to give him CB and enough leech to stay alive.

Well, I play too much anyhow and currently rush my mules to NM and hell all the time, so if you play EuHCL, I'd be happy to rush you along. I also have a Sorc with lv 34 or so enchant, so you will own everything. You can be deep in NM within a few hours ;)

Hmm, merc uses the reaper toll, duress archon and delirium right now. He doesnt stay alive much against bhaal thats the problem. I think I'll amn his little pole. I have the riders so I can use them on switch, that will help, you're right (I used them all the time except this evening when i decided for some mf, heh). Btw, would lvl 3 venom help you think? I have some charges from andys visage...

As for rushing, thx a bunch for the offer, really kind of you. I used to play Hc but because of friends/girlfriend started Sc so...:) Plus I have 2 Pcs so I can use rush myself, hehe. Problem is they are not both available most of the time:)

Venom, hm..depends if you feel he regenerates too much, then I'd say yes. (But Poison charms on yourself would do the trick as well)

I know that a Reapers Toll is the mostly favored weapon all around, but stories about the battle with DC always involve CB, so I figured it would be great for Baal as well. In this situation I really think CB is the way to go. Getting Baal down to 10% is probably going to happen really fast..its gonna be the last 50k HP that will take ages. I think he has 60% block and its hard to leech of him. Apparently lightning sorcs and Hammerdins do him with eeez

What about that Crescent Moon runeword? Chance to cast static sounds also nice.

Yeah, maybe for fighting him I should wear the gores and switch armor with merc:) Guillames face is also nice for merc, I dont tink delirium is so good against bhaal. Crescent Moon also looks not bad, but I'm out of Ums atm, heh.
