highest MF with 9/2 WF

I am trying to max MF while maintaining 9/2 strafe with my WF, and no freeze, and at least 5% life leech. Zon is level 88 with max dex. Extra life, resists and damage are good too in that order. Ignore charms since they are an addon to any setup. This is my current idea, although I flinch at putting IAS jewel into Shako and Skullders (items that I always associate with casters).

If you want higher MF and maintain your killing speed, you can use your merc for more magic find. My hybridzon has 500 % MF, and her defiance merc gives her 100 % MF.
Give him a decent Bonehew, Shako/Stealskull and a Grisarmor/Black Hades (both with 3 sockets), and let him kill the bosses.

I take your point. My sorceress Merc uses perfect 320 eth Bonehew, and Stealskull (the 10IAS gains a frame), and upped 195ed Duriels. I use this char for boss killing.

My strafezon I use for fast mass killing in 8 player games. The merc rarely gets a kill in. So I consider MF on the merc not a main goal. The merc is might merc with reapers, eth rockstopper (could be replaced with shako), and eth shaftstop. The Reapers increases kill speed dramatically, but the damage is not great.

Judging from the lack of responses, I assume there is not much room for improvement.
My alternative is to slink down to 10/3 speed, with ptopaz in shako and Skullders and a 39 chanceguard, which gains 87 MF, and maybe try to find a good MF amulet.

Man, you're gonna have abysmall resist... this is all that your equip gives: 50%fire loh, 35% lightning highlords, some cold absorb, poison 55% carrion(hope I didnt forget anything). Add charms to this but then again, I suppose you wanna use mf charms? It will not be so easy to stay alive. Plus, you dont have so much leech either to somehow complement the lack of resists (I think).

Of course there are always solutions but maybe not everyone is stincking rich. Well, maybe he is, dunoo.

you could try and gamble a ring with LL and mf (and +dex would be a win :D)

Cat's eye, Mav's helm soc with +15ias jewel, LoHands, and Shael'd WF = 125 ias

CoH, Wartravs, Goldwrap, Nangle (+Raven Frost)= 135MF / Add a pGheeds = 175MF

p topaz skullders and stealskull on the merc for an extra 200 MF or so...
