Best place to find Hoz?

I know this has probably been asked a gajillion times but what's the best place, stats wise, to find a hoz, or just the minimum mlvl area?the lowest I've heard is nm baal, or does it go lower? thanks in advance for replys

I beleive NM Meph is, I ran him about a billion times and never got one. Got mine from NM Baal.

About how many runs do ya think it took on NM baal? or was it just a fluke? cause I've been running Hell meph and the closest I got was a ****ty rare gilded shield

I have gotten 2 from Hell meph pretty recently... never one from Nightmare meph.. dunno

You can find one in Stony Field believe it or not. I did once...but I do not consistently run this area to tell you the consistency of this type of drop...but it is an easy area and on occasion some of the more sought after items drop. (I found Trang's armor in stony field as well).

Just run the area a bunch and try your luck. Andy also drops many good items as well, so you may want to try your luck there. The reason I don't suggest BAAL is because of the length of time it takes...MF is about volume, and runs that take too long are prohibitive.

He is right...its all about speed and volume and not HIGH MF. The other day I found trang's armor in stony field with 25% mf. The more runs you do the more items you will find. Having high mf may reduce the number of runs you have to do...but you still have to do HUNDREDS upon THOUSANDS of runs to find the ELITE items (windforce, IK armor, Griz shield and weapon, Valor, etc.).

Ya I'm not saying what the best amount of mf is I'm just wondering what the best place is to kill lots of monsters in small amounts of time that count possibly drop me a Hoz

I've gotten a perfect hoz from hell baal once and one from hell cows(don't remember ed%)

Believe it or not, I got a NEAR perfect (that's 199% enhanced defense out of 200) from your average, run-of-the-mill zombie in durance of hate level 2 in nightmare. I was playing my paladin at the time, and i saw a unique gilded shield drop, and I just went nuts. I mean, I've never found a soj or anything, the best I've found apart from the hoz is probably tal's ammy.

I got my 200% ed one over the weekend from Hell Mephisto..I can't say I've seen more than 5 gilded shields drop in the last two months so I guess I was just lucky to have this one turn gold for me..

I know I was lucky with the % ;)
