A litle IAS Q

hey :=) i have a amzon who's using strafe and a buri.. and i was wondering if it would be a waste of a good jewel to put some more ias on her
and any one know what the break points r for a buri ? :=)
i need to do something to her she's killing way to slow :/

Look at the IAS tables at middle of the FAQ page here (http://www.diabloii.net/characters/amazon/faq2.shtml). It should give you enough aid on the speed breakpoints. If you still have problems after reading this just let us know.

i looked at the ias tabel, i got my self a buri but as i see it the fastest it can get is already reached with the 80% include on the xbow.. or is it just me reading it the wrong way ?

Yes i think you are reading it wrong. With the 80% ias already given to the bow you only reach the 14/4 breakpoint. Remember you need to look under WSM 10 because its a ballista. another ias jewel somewhere will give you the next bp at 95% which is a 13/3.5 bp.

Break points go:

14/4 -> 70 48 30 0

13/3.5 -> 95 68 46 4

12/3.5 -> 138 99 70 16 0

11/3 -> 215 152 109 35 8

the ones in blue are the ones you should be looking at. I think the 13/3.5 should be your aim. If you have the equipment for it you should be able to reach 138 ias for the next bp.

thanx alot :=) i'll try it out :=) i got about 100 ias now :=) i could get 2 jewels in my amour and one in the helm that would help alot i guess:=)

Why don't you try to trade for a witchwild string? The damage may look very low especially compared to your Buriza, but the deadly strike, amp damage and much higher speed (which I feel is required for strafe) makes up for the low listed damage.
