I was in a game when this this morning, when a pally got all mad.
He said his runeword didn't work. I asked him what one?
He said he had a pally shield with 3 sockets, so he tried to put a ko+ko+mal in it and it didn't work........ :scratch:
I asked to see the shield.......


It was griz's shield. :thanks:
I tried to tell him that runewords don't work in set items.
I was called a "noob" and he's been palying for about a year and yes they do.
then he exited the game....... :fish:

If he made it as a honest mistake I wouldn't really care. But really, the shield was right in freaking front of him, and he could clearly see it didn't work. How could he possibly prove it did?

You guys, thats nothing....There was a guy who put JAHithBER and JAHGul (and the last rune in fury), all into a sword. He was under the impression that enigma/fury worked in no matter what you put them in. Anyway, this guy had put thim into an ETH sword, and the sword was down to low durability. So I asked to duel. His WW barb sliced through my Druid, but then all of a sudden his character stopped, and I noticed something strange about the look of his character. We went to town, and I asked to see his sword. He told me it had disapeared....I laughed and fell out of my seat. Then I told him that the next time he wants to waste runes, he shoudl call me and give them to me....Anyway he called me a newb and told me that his best friend had given him that sword and had hacked it with 10000ed and all this other Bull. I left the game with a cheerful smile....

See, it would be a lot more believable if you had said that it had zero durability. Weapons don't disappear like in the first Diablo. They just turn red and are unusable. Don't know, could just be me though.

I know ppl make mistakes all the time, and when you try and help them out, thats what you get. All you can do is laugh about it. :lol:

I joined a game a few weeks back and a guy asked me for free and a rush... I ignored him and he said if I didn’t leave the game (mind you this was with my new lvl3 barb and I’m killing just outside of town, not screwing any quests) that he was going to hack me. I wanted to say LMAO but just ignored him more, he said he was gunna hack my PC and blah balh... I found this extremely fully considering computers are my living, from PC, server, to routers and no way could this kid do a thing to me.

Just found that quite amusing.

Because of things like this, grabbers, and the beggars; I reminded myself of Andrew Carnage (spelling?) the great philanthropist and at the time one of the 3 richest men in the world. He always said he would NEVER give to the beggars, as it only promoted begging. He donated all his money to schools and social benefits (see Carnage Hall). Because of this (as suggest it becomes SOP) if someone asks for free - they get nothing.
