My hammerdin currently uses:
Shako
Wiz spike
GA
HoZ
TO gloves
raven frost and dwarf star
Waterwalk
Tgods
And crafted fcr amu
I was wondering if its worth it to try to reach the 125 point?
I could switch the HoZ with lidless, GA with viper and then use fcr ring. But is it worth it?

Swapping GA for Viper isn't going to help you out much as it is a case of swings and roundabouts as far as the benefits are concerned.
I use Viper instead of GA even though I have GA available. Basically I don't see a need to change the armour, Viper works for me.
Most of the time my Hammerdin uses Skullders anyway because I use my Hammerdin exclusively for MF now.
I have had my Hammerdin break the 125% (or is it 105% can never remember).
To do so I had to sacrifice +skill items for FCR and in the end I found it wasn't worth it really.
Yeah, you are getting more total damage out there (more hammers, less damage per hammer) however in Hell multiplayer games you are having to hit things more often in order to kill them.
I find that with Wizard Spike, Magefist and Viper I am getting enough hammers out there, each one packing a big enough punch to drop things very quickly. I guess it is a case of quality over quantity here.
Even when using Skullders I am killing quickly enough. Got a nice rare Pala amulet that gives +2 combat, 34% MF and some FCR (10% I think)

well if you're rich, and on USeast NL 125% Fcr with HoZ is ez!! :lol:

you can still use GA and HoZ for this setup, just takes some work to get it. and if you're pure hammer, 125% FCR is the breakpoint you'll really wanna shoot for.
What could be a nice option for you armour ( ladder ) is to upgrade you viper magi, I have done that and I ended up with an armor with 35 % all resistance and a defense just over 1000 which makes it a pretty decent amour.
I always use 75 % fhc on my hammerdin, I think it's good compromise but I think it all depends on what you do with your character. I mainly do mf with mine so I am happy with that setup.
Its really depend if you are PvP or not. If you dont do any PvP - there is no real need for hitting mark 125FCR - 75FCR work just fine. But I'd suggest you drop GA and get upgraded Vipermagi this allow you drop wizardspike and use suicide branch. From this point it will all depend on your wealth. I'd invest some time to scavenging wealth for HOTO - its 3skills/30-40 resist all/40FCR - danm pretty neat peice of gear for hammerdin and yet fairly cheap - you can get low HOTO (30-32) just tiny above Ist (Ist+Um) and that will be very serious improvement for you. Next step obvious :idea: - get enigma - only hammerdin with enigma can do more or less serious MFing and/or rushing ppl for forge
