No. The only nightmare monster which can drop Gheed's is Baal.

I dropped it once in the Pit (Act 1 Hell) and several times at Mephisto (Hell).
For nightmare, I dunno but you better try the Pit Hell, it's fairly easy with a good char (Meteorb, Javazon, Windruid, Hammerdin...) and you can drop ALL (yes ALL) the items.
The odds to drop uniques/sets are lower than the odds on bosses of course, but you have some nice chances to drop stuff like 3/4 sockets elite armors, or colossus blades, or whatever you can trade much better than any common item (and btw you can easily have Gheed for a 500-600 def 4x sox archon ;O)

Gheed's charm has a qlvl of 70. This means that only monsters with a level of 70 and above can drop it. Almost all momsters in Hell have a level of 70 after the first 2 or 3 areas of act 1. Very few monsters in Nightmare are level 70 and above. Nightmare Baal and Lister can drop but not Diablo...

I've found 3 Gheeds in Hell Cows, it's a good place too. :p
