MAVINA'S SET - how to tell the difference between 1.09 and 1.10 pieces?

Well, I just got screwed out of a high rune by trading for Mavina's set after seeing the nice mods on the set (at Arreat Summit) since 1.10. The problem is there are no "green" mods for each piece.. leading me to believe all the pieces I got are from 1.09 and therefore useless.

Can someone confirm, and also share how to tell the 1.09 junk from the 1.10 good stuff?

Simple, you can't. Luck or trustworthy traders.

Only other way I can think of is trading piece by piece and have the zon that wants to wear the stuff in the trade. That way she can take two pieces, put them on and see if the setbonus shows up, then discard one of the oieces (give back to trader) receive another piece, put it on, see if the green mods show up, etc. etc.

Complicated and still not foolprove, I guess...but ones step in the right direction.

As luck would have it, I traded another high rune and other stuff to a guy and now have a 1.10 Mavina set.

The only difference I can find between the 1.09 and 1.10 pieces:

1.10 bow has "Fires Magic Arrows"..... 1.09 bow does not.
1.10 armor has 122 str req..... 1.09 armor has 121 str req.

So at least it's easy to tell on those two pieces. For the gloves/hat/belt I guess you are left to deal with the legions of cheats and scammers.
