Pvp Light Sorc Tips?

Well I got my account stolen (feel free to whisper RecipeForHate, RecipeForHate2, and Seafoodman telling them how *** they are :D) so I reequipped my light sorc from my other account. She was really weak so this is how I am going to remake her.

Stats:

Strength-Enough for items(60)
Dex-None
Vit-Rest

I could go for max block but using a lidless it would cost SO many points but if I use ss I'll have to use points to get to enough str (133 I think with a -15%req) which would be 39 more points into str (with str from gear) then the dex it's just to much and melees arent ever really problems.

10 light gcs (with str dex or life I hope)

9 20 life scs (other mods)

To do all the skills I want I would have to be level 95 but I don't need nova maxed so I'de be fine even in the 80s.

Some people say that lightning attacks have different BPs I dunno if it's true but I'll have an 8 frame tele. If it is true someone post em I might change gear a little to hit a BP if I have to.

But what do you think it's 44k lightning
15k chain lightning(Really low for some reason I might have messed up on my Single Player char?)
800-900 Charged bolt
1800-2500 TS
1500 life 800 mana (without BO)
2600 life 1000 mana (with BO)

so what do you think since my sorc now (24k lighting 1000 life 600 mana) kinda blows I think this is VERY nice.

Well 75 block vs 10 won't save me anyway I mean. Of course some melees can beat me.

Ok, well assuming you have a +3 eschutas, and +1 from cta, your cl should be about 11k max, of course, that's not counting the +skill dmg and -enemy res from eschutas and your facets. Your lighting on the other hand will be ~30k max (w/o your ed/-res of course)

Your cl damage estimate seems right, your lighting one seems a bit high though... Am I calculating it right? 14 to all skills, 10 to lighting?

Seems like it would do well in pubbies, and make a real mess of people who use tele-stacking.

Consider using griffon eye for extra dmg/lower res and fast cast. Anyone using tgods and wisps will be screwed unless they stack alot of res. Just use shako for the phys dmg chars. Whistans may be an alternative to ss. It has lower req and higher block I think.

The light sorc I made on sp had the same chain light dmg. It just doesn't get anywhere close to lightning, but hey it does hit 10+times. Useless for pvp, but sometimes useful for pvm. Btw, 40k lightning rips up baal runs.

It's 15 to all skills 10 to lightning +35% lightning damage (orb + 3 facets)

Griffon is ladder only isn't it? I lost my ladder account to the fags mentioned above BTW call them fags for me :D (us west)

Change the 20vita sc's to lower life/mana(+15/+15) charms, lightning use mana like crazy..

Lightning cast rates are indeed different. Iirc 117% fcr was 12 frames. That was the last possible BP.

Have you considered crescent moon in a low req weapon? -35 enemy light resistance, along with 2 -5 facets on helm and shield would yield -45%. IMHO this is worth far more than a few thousand additional damage. That is of course if you can make the cast bp without FCR from eschutas...
Worth a thought anyway.
Also, chain lightning is no longer bound by IAS but rather FCR. There are additional delays with chain lightning and normal lightning, I don't know the specific values, but from what I understand you simply add a constant number of frames to your "normal" cast rate, meaning that the existing FCR tables still apply. Anyone like to confirm this?

We already went into the different fcrs for lightning on sorc forum I found and posted the tables there. I'm going to get 117.

btw anyone on uswest NL selling the buggy sorc ammy?(or a sorc ammy with + 2 skills and at least 17%fcr?)

The reason crescent moon sucks is because not using eschutas isn't a few thousand it's like over 6k and I lose 40% fcr so I would have to use like fcr rings or a circlet or not use CoH to get to the BP. Also anyone who wants to absorb me will regardless if I have the -35 from crescent. I still use crescent when mfing though, monsteys don't resist stack :D
