Cold Shadows Druid?

Hi, i was wondering, would it work to use arctic blast and synergies to get the range and damage really high, then you could use the runeword Nadir (Nef+Tir) to get cloak of shadows charges so you can sneak up on a group of monsters and blast them to death with cold? It would be expensive goldwise (all those repairs) but if i muled a bunch of gold to him, do you think it would work?

I guess it would work . but i think artic blast is bugged to do 28% of the damage it states it does. So if it says your doing 100 dam your only really doing 28. :grrr:

Also if you get a large enough range i doubt youll have to sneak up on anything but cold immunes b/c you could basically fight like a ranged fighter.

Can you actually attack monsters while under cloak of shadows without them noticing you? I thought it just prevented them from noticing you running by.

cloak of shadows -def, and basically blinds the monsters. So yes you can attack them while they are under cloak.

Bleah, yep, arctic blast, inferno, and the inferno fire traps are all bugged dmg wise i think, they don't do nearly as much as listed.

in 1.09, attacking blinded monsters from CoS made them able to see you, so that's where the confusion probably came from.
