I'm going with a WW Sin and I got a couple of question before I start:

1. Is Nat set good for a WW Sin? If it is at least ok, what should I socket it with?

2. What should my Str and Dex be for this build?

3. Tragic posted that either Blade Sentinel or Shield should be invested in for a WW. I was wondering if Blade Fury would work for a WW Sin?

hi there, first of all, i found voide's guide on top of this forum to be a great help.

as for your questions:
1: nats set could be used i guess, though there are way better combinations to use. you could socket your armor with poison facets btw, to boost your venom (if you use venom that is, but hey, thats one of the main damage sources)

2: str: to use gear//dex: to use claws

3:i myself use blade fury sometimes, only on low def chars though. only one point in it, and one point in blade shield is cool when you get close to your enemy, for that little bit extra dam. though i only use these to get some variety in it, cause the 'ww away' gets boring sometimes

hope this helps,
friendly regards, Tene

Hi draviok, before answering your questions, what kind of ww sin are u intending to make? Is it designed for PvP or PvM? Different recommendations can then be passed down to you depending on your kind of build.

Here's answers to your questions.
1. Nat Set is decent with 3 socketed posion facets however if you intend to use it for PVM, i recommend you to drop it and switch for a duress armour instead since you will kill way much faster rather than having the +2 shadow / +15|-15 posion skill | resist bonus.
2. Str and dex should be kept just enough to equip your claws.
3. If you do PVM WW, investing in blade shield is definitely worth it. My PvM guide explains it. Generally, you can use Blade fury but it only strikes a single target and in my opinion, BF doesn't seem to work well with ww as you are melee-based and mostly on the move. You deal decent damage but lose mobility...but ultimately it's really a matter of personal preference. I can't stop you even if you decide on BF right?
The most important point is that Sentinel and Shield deal splash damages as you whirlwind. Sentinel can patrol as you whirlwind while bshield always encompasses you meaning both can multi-task as you ww which I assume is far more superiorly efficient.

Thx for the help Tragic  . Yes I am going PVM so Ill go with the Duress armor. I was going to try Nats/Chaos claws if that is a decent combo so I'll have to figure what the least amount of Dex and Str I'll need for that setup. Also I'll go with Blade Shield. Should I go 10 Fade and 10 Blade Shield? Also I want to make something called a FurySin if anyone has a link to the build on that one.

If you intend to wield nats claw, consider laying of hands because of (200ed+350ed)550%ED to demons, and ignore's target defense plus cheap reapir for nats claw:lol: . You should still do fine as long as you keep up on 65%-75% crushing blow. I guess the huge 550%ed bonus might offset openwounds.
Generally, just finish blade shield at lvl 10 WITH end +skill gear.
As for fade, you just need 40pdr-50pdr depending on your style. Maybe you would like to calculate how much pdr u need, for e.g.(vegundo = 15%pdr) so you just need to finish fade @ lvl 25 with plus skills items.

(E.G. To achieve lvl 25 fade*)
+10 to fade
7 shadow gc, 1 anni charm
Two +3 to shadow discipline claws(can be bought from anya)
+1 to skill using highlord ammy or +2 using maras ammy.

Hope that helps.

a much better idea would b to use choas with fury. a lot of wwsins alrdy use nats armr for the life, +sd, and 3 socs for facets. idk if the other gear really helps with the other things missing from a wwsin build(ar,life, etc). u can surely use a better helm than nats and gores r much better than nats. i guess u could try it. hey every1 had to try something b4 they new it worked. well anyway gl and hf playin.
