I've been thinking for a while of how to make a new kind of druid dueler, and the new Wind Runeword gave me a lot of ideas. It's a decent weapon, but the most interesting thing about it are the 127 charges of Twister. As long as no points are in Twister, this will act as 127 synergies to Cyclone Armor, the same way Marrowwalks and Carrion Wind function. These synergies are substantially higher though. With 20 points in Cyclone Armor and Wind equipped while casting it, you'll have more than 2 times the synergies for it than a Wind Druid. This is massively powerful. If my calculations are correct, with a CA of only 20 (no addition skills) and Wind equipped, you will have a CA that will absorb 2650 elemental damage. This is for only 21 skill points. That's absolutely incredible, and I think almost any kind of druid (except of course wind druids) should consider this. I was trying to figure out how to make the best PvP druid with this, and came up with a sort of max life druid. Say you also max Oak Sage and Lycanthropy, and then kill with Rabies or something. You should have huge life and absorption. I'm not sure what the best druid to incorporate this kind of Cyclone armor into would be though. Anyone have any suggestions?

The synergy bug works with the lvl not with the # of charges... I thought Wind had 127 charges of lvl 12 twister...

Level 13 actually (according to diabloii.net, I haven't seen one)
Windy is probably the strongest druid. Not to say that the others aren't viable, or equally as good in many situations. (pure fire, fury, rabies, fireclaws, stuff like that)

505str+whatever the base str on a druid is+whatever the highest str adding gear is=strongest druid.

The wind runeword would only give you a lvl 13 synergy. Not quite as effective as a lvl 127 one.

make a fire(non geddon)/shape shifter druid and use wind to charge up cyclone armor
